LightSpring Home Care is a home health care service located at 100 S Broad St #625 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It serves people looking for care support at home and family members who are helping coordinate that support. The business lists hours every day of the week, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. These posted hours indicate a broad window for contacting the agency, though families should confirm directly how scheduling, caregiver availability, and response times work for a particular care need.

For families, arranging in-home care can involve practical questions as well as trust: who will provide care, when visits can begin, and how the agency will communicate if plans change. A reviewer who is a caregiver for her sister describes LightSpring as responsive and attentive, and says the company helped ensure her sister received care. Another reviewer, writing on behalf of a client, says the agency moved quickly to arrange care after the client had missed care with another agency. These accounts suggest that some clients and caregivers have appreciated the team’s involvement during the process of getting support in place.

Feedback is mixed, and prospective clients may want to ask detailed questions before deciding. Several reviewers report concerns about communication, scheduled introductions that did not take place, and the availability of aides. Other reviews criticize employment practices, including holiday pay and overtime calculations. These are individual accounts, not a complete picture of every client’s or employee’s experience, but they are useful context when comparing providers. LightSpring Home Care has a listed rating of 3.8 from 24 reviews, so it may be helpful to read recent feedback and discuss any concerns directly with the agency.

LightSpring Home Care may be worth contacting if you are in Philadelphia and exploring home care for yourself or a relative. Ask what services are available for your situation, how caregivers are matched, whether care can start when needed, and whom to contact about schedule changes or concerns. Confirm the expected costs, payment arrangements, and any relevant care requirements before making a decision. Its Philadelphia address and posted daily hours offer a starting point for an inquiry, while a direct conversation can help you understand whether the agency’s current availability and approach fit your needs. Comparing options and clarifying expectations can make the next step more informed and comfortable for everyone involved.

This company is great to work for. They are very responsive and attentive. I am the caregiver for my sister now and this company really steps up and makes sure she is receiving the care she needs. I've helped my sister in the pass but not to this extent. The task can be grueling but I'm happy I can afford to give her the care to have a better quality of life. Thanks for the opportunity.

When they were charter they were great. Now as LightSpring they don’t pay holidays, no bonuses, don’t pay overtime accurately. Some months they don’t pay for day 31 so you’re working for free. Look elsewhere if you love this work.

Three times this company arranged a meet and greet and no one showed up. I was given first and last name of persons, told they are their most experienced workers, then silence. Spoke with two different "managers." Based on how the conversations went with each person, there's poor communication within their agency. Both started off as if they didn't know what happened, and gave assurances they never proved to have. If you have a loved one you are seeking care for....this place isn't it. You'll waste your time. "Our agency makes extensive efforts to pair patients with suitable caregivers and this requires cooperation." Your outfit bid me three sequential 'No Call No Show' situations, with no responsible adult-like responses for such behavior as of today. "Notwithstanding this, we have many success stories with patients being paired up with suitable caregivers." Withstand this: You've childishly blocked my ability to reply with my personal non-success story for those who may look for full transparency with their family-orientated care provider choices. "We are sorry that you did not have the patience to work with us towards a satisfactory outcome..." Patience to 'Work' with unavailable care staff nor their indelicate 'Supervisors' uncaring that time is not on our loved one's side, while suggesting I somehow got stood up three times by this 'Business' because my fault? Watch yourself with these cats. Good Luck!

They’ve gone WAY downhill since they changed the name from Charter to Lightspring. Definitely below average aide availability. Edit: they responded below how all my aides quit, so my fault… 1) I fired those aides for not showing up & 2) …

I am Ms Hilma Reid aide, she asked me to write a review for her. She said this is a great company and they moved quickly to get her care because she has missed care for a while at the other agency. She said thank you to the whole team at Light Spring Home Care.
