There are several Lions City Supermarket chain stores around the Bay Area, my closest and most comfortable one is the one on Saratoga Ave near HWY-280. I found myself in South San Jose this week, and accidentally ran into this store. Inevitably, I began to unknowingly compare & contrast the two store locations. After all, if it's not better, there'll be no points for me to ever come here again. Upon entering the store, it had a very different feel than my regular Lion City store. I think because of its location, ie, South San Jose, the demographics here is largely Vietnamese & Latinos, so the store stocks items catering to this; unlike Ranch 99 or Marina Market which tend to cater to Chinese, Korean & Japanese demographics. As a result, I didn't find the items I was looking for in this store. And I don't think I'll be back ever, since the aforementioned one is so much closer.

Great selection of ethnic groceries, this Lion is slightly stocking differently than the one on Saratoga, closer to Capitol Expressway. Different just like how the 4 costcos in San Jose differ!

Here’s a clear and emotionally resonant English translation of your message: --- “I was afraid to leave my belongings in the car, worried someone might break the window. So I brought them with me into the market, but they told me to leave them at the cashier. I said, ‘These are important and valuable items—who will be responsible if something happens?’ No one answered. Sorry, but my car will never again pull into that market. This is America
