Little Scissors Fremont is a hair salon located at 241 Fremont Hub Courtyard in Fremont, California. For local families looking for a child-centered place for a trim or haircut, the salon's customer feedback points to staff who understand that a visit can feel unfamiliar, exciting, or stressful for young guests. It holds a 4.2 rating from 355 reviews, giving prospective visitors a useful, broad snapshot of experiences shared by the community. Its Fremont Hub Courtyard address also makes it a practical option for people seeking a kids' haircut in Fremont, CA.

Children's haircuts are the most visible strength in the available reviews. Parents describe stylists working patiently with kids who are nervous, crying, moving, or simply not enthusiastic about haircuts. One parent specifically recommends Nga for an exceptionally quick haircut completed while their son was upset and active. Other reviews praise Clara and Clementine for being calm, gentle, and kind through anxious appointments and a child's first haircut. These comments suggest a salon team accustomed to adapting their pace and approach to each child rather than expecting every appointment to go perfectly.

Reviewers also describe an environment designed to help children settle in before they sit for a cut. A parent mentions books, sound-making electronic toys, a playhouse, and a slide available to explore upon entering, while another notes that TV helped a child stay engaged during an appointment. Those details create a picture of a playful, family-oriented setting where a haircut can be paired with familiar distractions and time to warm up. That can be especially helpful for toddlers, first-time visitors, and children who have had difficult haircut experiences elsewhere.

At the same time, it is useful to plan appointments with clear expectations. While many customers praise the patient handling of young children, one review described feeling that a late-afternoon visit close to closing time was rushed and that communication about the desired cut did not meet expectations. Experiences may vary by timing and stylist, so parents who have a specific length, style, or child-comfort concern may benefit from sharing it clearly at the start. This practical context helps families choose Little Scissors Fremont with an informed perspective.

Little Scissors Fremont is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 7 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Its seven-day schedule gives Fremont, CA families weekday and weekend options when fitting a haircut around school, naps, errands, or family plans. The salon is a fitting choice for parents seeking a children-focused hair salon experience, particularly when patience, gentle interaction, and a welcoming space matter as much as the finished haircut. Customer comments highlight recognizable stylists including Nga, Clara, and Clementine, making this a local Fremont salon worth considering for a child's next cut.

Absolutely would recommend. Staff does an incredible job interacting with the kids. They are extremely comforting and haircuts are FAST! Ask for Nga! She's amazing and her speed is incomparable. She cut my son in under 25 minutes with him crying and moving . True professional

Extremely unprofessional experience. We came in for our 4:20 PM appointment when the salon was closing at 5 PM, and it felt like the stylist was distracted, rushed, and eager to leave. At the beginning, everything seemed fine. She asked what kind of haircut we wanted for my daughter, and we clearly agreed on trimming her hair to chin length. However, within just a few minutes, she had cut it all the way up to her ears. During the haircut, she was constantly distracted — having long conversations with another stylist, making phone calls, and repeatedly leaving my child alone in the chair while stepping away. When she returned, she kept cutting more and more in an attempt to “fix” the uneven length. I finally had to stop her from cutting further and questioned why my daughter’s hair had been cut so short. Instead of acknowledging the concern professionally, the situation became even more uncomfortable. Very disappointing experience, especially for a child’s haircut. I would not recommend this salon if you expect attentiveness, professionalism, or care.

Clara is amazing! We had an appointment with her today and my son is not a fan of a haircut, to say the least. It's usually filled with anxiety, fear and tears for all involved. Clara was patient and kind and magically produced a great haircut without tear. My son was so proud. Will definitely be coming back on a Thursday to specifically book with her.

Clementine is so gentle ! My son is 3.5 he felt really comfortable inside first walking in, checking out the books, electronic toys that have sounds, a play house and a slide. this is almost his 20th haircut since he’s been born… he hasn’t let me cut it recently. I decided to take him to the shop . It took my son a little while to stop screaming while I sat with him in the chair. My son was getting emotional even while I was holding him getting his haircut, clementine proceed to buzz his hair and he was scared at first and didn’t trust her, while she was being so gentle, she had the kindest words to my son. She even styled his Mohawk with gel. My son walked out of the shop and showed everyone at the books store or anyone walking in his path, “ do you like my haircut, I lub it” 🧸💙 She also made me feel so comfortable :) I will be back again. I would let the other lady cut his hair too, she was a shorter, Asian gal, very nice as well :) Thanks little scissors, your environment and hair stylist at Fremont is the best ! See you next month 🥰

Clementine was my daughter’s hair stylist and she was so great! It was my daughter’s first haircut, so I wasn’t sure how she was going to do, but she did really well, and Clementine was very patient with my daughter during the couple of times my daughter would get distracted (from watching the tv or playing with the seat she picked). Clementine was not only patient, but also efficient. We booked my daughter’s haircut on a weekday when they opened, too, so it wasn’t busy. And I appreciate that reservations are required in order to keep it from getting too crowded with walk-ins. My personal suggestions and tips: - I recommend Clementine, she’s great! - Make sure to make a reservation! They do NOT accept walk-ins. - Weekdays seem to be the best time (we walked in on a weekend before, at a different location, and it was packed). - Have a photo ready ahead of time of the type of haircut you’d like your stylist to do.
