Living Spaces at 49088 Fremont Blvd is a sizable home-furnishing destination for people shopping in the East Bay. As a furniture store in Fremont, California, it provides an in-person setting for exploring furniture and home decor when moving, furnishing a new room, or updating a familiar space. Shoppers describe a roomy showroom with enough space to walk between displays and take time comparing pieces at their own pace. Its Fremont Boulevard location in Fremont, CA 94538 makes it a convenient local option for residents who prefer to see home items before choosing them. The showroom format offers a tangible alternative to ordering substantial pieces without first inspecting them.

The selection mentioned by customers spans couches, leather sofas, three-seat reclining options, and home-decor pieces, giving visitors several categories to consider in one stop. A shopper seeking a leather three-seater with a recliner within a specific budget reported that a staff member listened to the request and showed suitable choices. Another visitor singled out the comfort of the Zone couch after trying many models in the store. These firsthand examples make the showroom particularly useful for shoppers who want to test seating comfort, compare configurations, and get a closer look at options instead of relying only on product photos.

The overall atmosphere is built around browsing rather than rushing: customers can move through a large showroom, try seating, and discuss needs with floor staff. Several reviews characterize employees as friendly, helpful, polite, and professional, especially when shoppers arrive with a clear idea of the piece they need. Living Spaces holds a 4.3 rating from 6,540 reviews, so there is a substantial volume of public feedback to consult. The feedback is not uniform, however; some reviewers raised concerns about final-discount merchandise, product descriptions, or management follow-up. That contrast makes it sensible to review an item's condition and purchase terms carefully before completing an order.

Living Spaces suits Fremont households seeking one place to browse large furniture displays and decor, including people settling into the area, replacing a couch, or weighing options for a room refresh. It can also work well for couples and families who want to compare comfort together before they buy. The store is open 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Sunday, offering the same hours every day for weekday or weekend visits. Before visiting the Fremont location, knowing room measurements, preferred seating features, and a budget can help focus the search; for showroom or final-discount items, asking staff to confirm what is included and the item's condition supports a more informed decision.

We purchased a final-discount sofa from Living Spaces based on the information provided by the salesperson. At the time of purchase, we were specifically told that the sofa was complete and that the only reason for the discount was that it had been on the showroom floor for many years and had some cosmetic wear and stains. We were never informed that any parts were missing. Because our home was under renovation, we did not unpack and assemble the sofa until about ten days after delivery. When we finally assembled it, we discovered that one of the sofa legs was missing. When we contacted customer service, Aman informed us that the sofa was discounted because it was already missing a leg and that nothing could be done because more than seven days had passed. This was extremely frustrating because that information directly contradicts what we were told by the salesperson. Had we been informed that the sofa was missing a structural part, we would never have purchased it. The issue is not simply that a leg is missing. The issue is that we were never told about the missing part before making the purchase. We relied on the salesperson’s representation that the sofa was complete. We believe customers should be given accurate and complete information before purchasing a final-sale item, especially when missing parts affect the functionality and stability of the furniture. We would appreciate Living Spaces reviewing this situation and providing a reasonable resolution.

Terrible experience with store management. I would not recommend shopping here based on misleading product marketing and how poorly management handled it. To be clear, the floor staff were wonderful. Helpful, polite, and professional. No complaints there. Management was the issue. I went in to look at the Cullen leather power sofa labeled “zero gravity” priced around $1,100 per piece. The exact same exact model of Cullen recliner without the “zero gravity” label was priced around $800 per piece, with the exact same recline angle. The $1,100 version is not zero gravity. Not even close. When fully reclined, your legs are not above your heart, which is the basic definition of zero gravity. I raised this and asked if there could be a price adjustment since the feature being charged for does not exist. I was told only corporate could handle pricing, which is fine. I then asked what role management plays in situations like this. I was told their role is to de escalate and “educate” the customer. Educate me on what exactly? Redefining what zero gravity means? Do all Living Spaces store managers come with a PhD in sofas? Manager told me "I know, I've sold many zero gravity pieces". Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy, the focus was on continuing to sell the product as zero gravity despite it clearly not meeting that standard. That is not education. That is just misleading. I have attached photos comparing the Cullen sofa fully reclined and actual zero gravity seating. In true zero gravity, legs are elevated above heart level. The Cullen does not achieve that position. If you are going to charge a $300 premium for a feature, the least you can do is make sure it exists. Living Spaces, fix your marketing. Customers should not have to debate basic definitions in store just to understand what they are buying.

Came in with my husband, we knew what we were looking for: leather sofa, 3-seater, with recliner up to 3k. Viki from Vietnam listened to our wishes and showed us everything that fitted our criteria (not like in some other furniture stores where they tried to sell us 7k sofas and just waisted our time) Viki wasn’t too pushy, she was at side patiently waiting on feedback while we were testing sofa. She gave us all necessary information and was very helpful. Guys just delivered sofa yesterday and it is great (Kinsey Oyster Leather Flexsteel 85") Two days after we came back and bought another one for guest room, we are waiting on delivery for that one, but isn’t it great that they just added this second delivery on first order and we paid delivery costs just once ❤️ second order we did with Jeff he was also very good, gave us personal space to choose and test sofas

We had a great experience at living spaces. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We just moved to the area and needed a couch. We absolutely fell in love with “the zone” couch. It was by far the most comfortable couch in the store, we literally tried every single one. You don’t even have to buy the entire thing, they let you purchase pieces to make your own custom sectional that fits your needs. They did a wonderful job shipping it as well and putting it together only required you to hand screw on the legs, that’s all it took. It was a very reasonable price as well for around $1,600 for the 4 pieces we got.

Living Spaces in Fremont is one of the largest and best showrooms in the area. The store has plenty of space, making it easy to walk around and explore everything. They have a huge variety of furniture and home décor, perfect for anyone moving into a new home or upgrading their current space. I also appreciate that many items are verified and ready for delivery, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. Overall, great place to shop with lots of options!
