Located Loc's 101 by Google search, dailed the number and got a immediate response. I ask for a quote for retwist; I didn't have to go in the shop to get a quote, I was asked to text a pic of my hair, from what I was told was within my price range. Mr. CJ sent me a link and the rest is TBC...presently I'm very please, and have no doubt that I would be after my hair is serviced....looking forward.

I recently cut my hair back off and needed a new barber in Austin. So I took my needs to Facebook ISO new barber. Mr Rodney was actually a friend of mine‘s on Facebook. I don’t actually know how but nonetheless he was the first person to respond. The location is not elegant or upscale as some barbershops or hair salons are but my experience was top-notch. Mr. Rodney listened to all the specific details that I had about how I wanted my haircut even down to my pointed sides, even down to not taking my hair any lower than the level of my cowlicks. Additionally, he gave me some hair care pointers, and I actually received a complementary shampoo which most barbershops don’t do at least not for women that I know of, so I got my scalp massaged which felt amazing. He even does hair coloring! so I say this to say that, even though I don’t have much hair, my scalp still needs to be cared for and that’s the feeling I left with and that was very much appreciated

CJ quoted me 800 for dread extension, for the top of my head ( I shave the sides and back) paid 200 for deposit. When I went to cancel 3 days before, he told me no refund. He said his policies are his policies and his prices are his prices. But on his website it says a charge of $25 if cancellation is less than 6 hours. He is very polite and probably very good but his ethics need some work.

I found cj online and have never had dread locks professionally done before. But he was able to fix my straight hair super quick and it wasn't over priced at all. Super nice guy and definitely did an excellent job and was very informative on what I need to do to take care of them. I'm really glad I found this guy. I'm definitely gonna go back again in the future

I went to CJ to have dreadlocks installed on my VERY straight hair. He did a wonderful job! Great customer service and very reasonable rates. This is the second set of dreads that I have had professionally installed in the Austin area, and let's just say, I wouldn't go to anyone else.
