Lone Star Auto Repair

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE, or there customers. I am Raul Jimenez Owner of Hondas Only Auto Dismantlers located in Santa Clara on 790 comstock street i sold a 3500$ motor to a customer of these people. These Mechanics claimed i gave them a bad motor, claimed it was cracked. i litterally drove the car up and down a hauler before removing the motor drove it to them personally it had 60K miles Beautiful Motor. I regret ever doing business with this scum. They called me a month later said it had a crack on the head. They said they tried to fix it replaced the timing chain cover gasket and it continued to leak. I told them why would you even try to fix this? why not call me right away and just send me photos so i can refund for the motor? The obvious answer is because they dropped it and tried to cover up the damage and it was far to extensive for them to resolve it without taking a 3500$ hit without blaming it on me. The owner began to yell when i requested photos information on the damage claiming i was blaming him. When i by default am to blame but i need info to prove the damage and cover warranty. The Owner hung up on me and would not even answer my calls. I still until this day have not recieved any Photo Evidence, My Motor or any Form of compensation. The problem is also that i sold the motor to the customer and not the Shop and the customer did a Fraud claim on the credit card charge. I called the customer back and got an answer from from a different person supposedly also they supposedly changed there phone number. The lady on the other end sounded just like the women i spoke with and Met and collected a signature on the Invoice from. Either these people were in on some kind of scam or they just have no integrity. when i dropped off the motor i noticed these people moving them around on forklift forks with no hooks which can easily slip a motor off from. The Customer in questions a woman who go's by the name of Taylor Thomas. Never do business with these people you have been warned.

Luis was so helpful!!! After my car was stolen and recovered I had it towed to Lone Star and they were able to determine the damage and take care of everything. Sadly the car was a total loss but Luis was in constant contact with insurance and was able to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Thank you Lone Star!!!

Luis did great work! I had a foreign made car that needed both headlamps replaced, along with the battery. He was able to finish the job within the day for a reasonable price!

I was having trouble starting my car and I thought it was the alternator... turns out it was the starter. They took great care of me and were very honest with the price. They showed me how they were able to figure the problem out and got it done in a couple hours.

I highly recommend Lone Star Auto Repair. I work 2 jobs so it's hard to find an auto shop that opens late or on weekends. Thankfully I came here and the mechanic Luis was very professional, kind and efficient. He had showed excellent communication skills and expertise in his work throughout the whole process!
