I got my first haircut with Josie when she was still working at Aveda Salon by 16th St (that was I think in 2013). When I called to book an appointment, I told them I wanted bangs and if they can put me with someone who’s good in that area. They said Josie is really good and I trusted their opinion. Sure enough, she cut my bangs, and I absolutely loved it! The rest is history. I’ve been going to her ever since for both haircuts and color, especially balayage, and she never disappoints. Getting my hair done with Josie feels like more than just a salon visit, it’s almost like therapy. We always end up having deep, meaningful conversations, which makes the experience even more special. I leave her salon not only feeling refreshed and uplifted, but also always loving how my hair looks. Josie is incredibly talented, attentive, and genuinely cares about her clients. Josie has been taking care of my hair for years. Not only does she do a fabulous job on my hair, but it's also a pleasure to sit in her chair. Josie takes great care of her clients and is such a delight to spend time with that I'm usually sad when my appointment is over. Based on a recent experience, however, I just learned that she's an even better breath work coach. Trying something like breath work can be a bit scary. I wasn't sure how I would react or what the process would bring up for me. Josie did a wonderful job of preparing me for the process. She told me what to expect and things I could do to make myself feel safe or in control if I started feeling overwhelmed. Her gentle guidance and play list helped me to have a deep and profound experience. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. I experienced a lot of emotions and released a lot of things I've held onto for years. At the end of the experience I felt lighter and joyful. I look forward to doing many more sessions with Josie. She's a gifted healer!

Josie has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 15 years now! I do not trust anyone else with my hair! I’ve never left Josie’s chair disappointed- only refreshed and satisfied with whatever hair or color we decide to do! Josie makes the health of my hair a priority as well as my experience in her chair, usually beginning with a nice scalp massage. Throughout the years I’ve tried various hues of balayage and lengths of hair. I highly recommend any of Josie’s services ♥️
