Sign in to reviewVery friendly staff at the front! Wait times were not bad and the process was very smooth. Dr. Dabney was very informative and willing to accommodate to mouth sensitivity and pain while doing my cleaning and examination. Would definitely recommend using this practice! Will be returning in the future to have my teeth fixed by these wonderful people!
My auntie referred me to this dentist. Lovett Dental. And I went there for the first time. I was having a little complication, but the lady behind the desk. Ms. Gina, was absolutely awesome, she explained everything to me in detail. I went home, got on the phone with the insurance company. A few weeks later I received a letter saying I was approve. I went there they did my dental work and procedures. The doctor that it did my fillings was absolutely extraordinary. I would definitely refer this office for all of your needs, any type of dental work. keep up the good work and god bless you all in this office
I had such a great experience at Lovett Dental in Katy. Jeanine, the office manager, is incredibly kind and helpful—she really made the whole process smooth and welcoming. The rest of the staff was just as sweet and attentive. I honestly had the best teeth cleaning I’ve ever had. I didn’t feel a thing—it was that gentle, it felt like a fairy was doing it. Overall, this was one of my best dental experiences ever. I’ve officially found my new primary dental practice.
The staff is so kind and thoughtful! Jeannie at the front desk called me the day before our appointment to make me aware of some issues with my kids insurance such as provider lister and clinic location that needed to be changed. She also gave me EVERYTHING I needed to be able to call my insurance and request the change before they were seen the next day. She gave me the providers NPI, address and name. She also let me know exactly what she needed from the insurance so I could be prepared the following day. Thank you for making the kids feel safe and welcomed and making our visit pleasant and easier!
As a first time client, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this office. From the moment I arrived, things felt unorganized and poorly communicated. I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. During that time, no one provided updates or explained the delay. After waiting so long, I politely approached the front desk to ask how much longer it might be. Arica responded defensively and with an unprofessional tone, as if my question was unreasonable. Thankfully, Jeanie stepped in to handled the situation but you could tell this is something they do all the time because she wasn’t very apologetic about her coworkers behavior. When I scheduled my appointment, I was clearly told that my cleaning and X-rays would require only a $27 copay. However, after finally being seen by the dentist, I was informed that the cleaning would actually cost $109. This is my routine that should be fully covered. I was given an explanation that I first need to see the dentist and after diagnosed, they I find out the real balance. Since when is routine cleaning a diagnosis? This was confusing and frustrating, especially since no one had explained any change in coverage or additional charges beforehand. I went back to the front desk to ask for clarification about my insurance coverage and the unexpected additional cost. Once again, Arica was rude and dismissive. Instead of calmly explaining the billing breakdown, she became defensive. Jeanie had to take over the conversation to assist me. Meanwhile, Arica was mumbling and even giggling while I was visibly frustrated and simply trying to understand my bill. That behavior felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. As a first time client, this was the absolute worst dental experience I have ever had. Long wait times without communication, inaccurate cost information, and rude front desk behavior are not acceptable. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this office based on my experience. To think that I almost brought my son to get dental check up here.I WOULD GIVE ZERO IF I COULD!!! I want to specifically address the follow-up communication from the office manager Jeanne. After sharing my concerns about my visit, instead of receiving a genuine apology or acknowledgment of the confusion and long wait time, I received email from the office manager, Jeanne, that felt argumentative and dismissive. The tone came across as defensive and focused on justifying the office’s actions rather than taking accountability for the breakdown in communication. As a patient, I expected professionalism and empathy not emails that made me feel blamed or talked down to for expressing legitimate concerns. Constructive feedback should not be met with defensiveness. It should be met with understanding and a willingness to improve. The continued emails felt unnecessary and only reinforced the lack of accountability. That experience alone would make me hesitant to ever return. Professionalism does not end after a patient leaves the office it includes how concerns are handled afterward as well.
