Sign in to reviewI had a very disappointing experience working for this company. Today, I was terminated via text message and then received an email stating my employment was effective immediately because my car broke down and I couldn’t make it to work. I found that approach to be extremely unprofessional, especially considering I barely knew anyone in the office and had very little interaction with management outside of email. Throughout my employment, I remained committed to my clients. Even after my father passed away, I continued showing up to provide care. I only called out twice during my time with the company, and many of the missed shifts were actually due to client cancellations not my attendance. What disappointed me most was the lack of empathy and communication. I understand businesses have attendance policies, but treating employees with basic respect and compassion should be part of any professional workplace. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to others seeking employment.
Lucent has been providing a nurses aid for my father in law. They communicate with us so professionally. They are on top of the caregiver schedule and when he had a second stroke, they checked on his condition regularly. I highly recommend them
Pay is good but professionalism very bad. I have been throwing up quite a bit the past 3 days which I sent a picture to them via email so they were aware and could ask the client if it was okay as it is the clients health that matters. If the client was genuinely okay with it I would have came but she needed to be aware considering it's more than likely a virus. They neglected to even ask her if it was okay and just told me it's fine. Every training I have ever done States otherwise. They just don't want to leave the office and do the job for the caregiver who is not feeling good. As long as they don't have to get up and actually do some work then it's fine if I show up and get my clients sick without her permission. Not a big fan of being called at 7:00 in the morning when my shift starts at 10:00 as well. I made the decision to not come in considering they did not reach out to her. Now they want to try and scare me with client abandonment??? Someone who is sick and choose not to get my client who already struggles with severe anxiety sick? That's wild. I make the proper choice because they again neglected to reach out to her so I'm at fault? This is what happens when you hire a bunch of children to do office work who clearly do not know what it is to be a caregiver which is to care for the elderly and not get them freaking sick and especially not inform them. They make the choice not me not the office. I really think they need to do some training and that is coming from a caregiver. No telling how many clients have gotten covid or other sickness from caregivers who reached out about being sick but was told to keep going and didn't inform the client lol

Now that I'm approaching two years with the company, I felt it was only right to come back and update my review. I can honestly say that everything I wrote before is still true. In fact, my appreciation for this company has only grown over time. One thing that really stood out to me recently was earning my CNA certification. After I submitted my certificate, Tony, the Vice President of Operations, personally sent me a congratulatory message. We've only met a couple of times, but the fact that he took a moment out of his day to acknowledge my accomplishment meant more than he probably realizes. It reminded me that Lucent Health Group truly values its employees and celebrates their growth. What is it that I can say about Lucent Health Group? My response is still the same: this is absolutely the best company I've ever worked for! I have now been with this company for nearly two years, and I still do not have one complaint. The staff is always pleasant, listens to any concerns I may have (which are very few), recognizes hard work, and values the feedback they receive from clients. They never miss an opportunity to let you know when you're doing a great job. The flexibility they provide has been a tremendous blessing. They work around my schedule when personal or family needs arise, and I've never felt ignored or treated as though I wasn't a priority. Another thing I truly appreciate is how they match caregivers with clients. They don't send you all over the city—they genuinely try to keep assignments close to home while making sure you're a good fit for the client. They also make sure client supplies are delivered on time and consistently follow through on conversations and scheduling. There is so much more I could say about Lucent Health Group, but I'd probably run out of space before I ran out of good things to say. Thank you to Brianna, Jade, Natalie, Tony, and everyone else behind the scenes who make this such an amazing place to work. Nearly two years later, I can honestly say I'm just as grateful to be part of the Lucent Health Group family as I was when I first started. Here's to many more years!
Nathalie with Lucent Home Health is excellent. She helped me with the V.A. “in-home support” within hours of calling her. The providers she sends, who are highly professional and caring, do an excellent job caring for me as their patient and communicating well with the family. Their professionalism instills confidence in the quality of care they provide. She and her providers are very dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate. I will recommend her to many friends, especially those dealing with the V.A., who need in-home support in Dallas, TX, and beyond. I would give her more than five stars if it were possible!! Thanks to Nathalie and the staff, Lucent Home Health is the most caring and efficient agency I’ve encountered.
