For a meal, customer feedback points to banh mi and bowls as appealing options. Pho is also on the menu, with a reviewer noting its aromatic broth and available add-ons; tastes differ, so that feedback is best read as one person’s experience rather than a guarantee of a particular flavor profile. I’ve had some truly amazing cold coffees in New York City, and I’m thrilled to see Boston catching up. Lumi’s Vietnamese egg coffee is one of the best in the city. I used to visit Weekend Cafe for brunch, but now I can skip the coffee and head straight to Lumi!
Now THAT is a certified banh mi. There are only a select few in the Boston area that truly taste like Vietnam, and this was one of them. Under $10, amazing cold cuts, butter-mayo sauce, pate, flaky and flavorful but fluffy bread, just the …
I am really not familiar with Vietnamese coffee, and the person there was very nice to explain all the available coffees to me. I tried the pandan coffee, which has a really nice earthy flavor. You can choose whether you want the coffee to be stronger, and the taste is amazing. I would definitely try the other coffees there too.
Good services, the Pho bowl has a nice aroma, and add-ons are decent. My main complaint is that the broth has barely any salt and sugar in it (which in turns make its savory taste way less amplified than it should be). I hope it is accidental.
Delicious bowl with lots of toppings included and a delicious sauce to go with the rice.
