Sign in to reviewJenny accepts walk in! This was recommended by a friend who I had a walk in with. I wanted medium length hair with a few layers. I had long hair and my hair is thick. I felt she was very detailed with her work. She only charges a max of $30 which is such a steal that I tipped her $10.
I walk in just to ask if I can get a perm but my hair was long since I let it grow for 2 years and a half. And she said yes immediately and sat me down but she told me that she will cut very little and I thought she was going to cut a little but instead she cut more than a half of my hair 😭😭 I was trying to stop her but she just gave me a bad look and I didn’t do nothing. Also I wasn’t going to tip her but she kept my change and said it was complete. I’m just so mad🤬 about what she did to my hair. So please do not come in here it’s just a very bad service.
I am happy with my new haircut. I am trying to grow out my fading bleached hair, so I asked for just a short haircut (no color). I love that it is still versatile as both feminine and cute boyish. Another plus is that this is very close to where I live, so I can just walk here. It was not crowded at all, I was the only one there on Wednesday noon, so there was no wait as a walk-in. It's probably better to make an appointment if you come on a weekend. I will definitely come again when I need another cut. It was pretty affordable, too, at about $27. My hair was shoulder length before.
This is the first time I went to M&M Hair Design. I waited 15 mins for her to arrive after calling her. I didn't mind, because we typically wait for the hairdresser. I went in for a cut after growing out layers. She did a great job and she used a technique for my thick hair and it's a really nice Bob. I have a gray streak in my bangs, and she advised me to color it. I've never had a dye job, but trusted her. It came out perfectly matched to my hair color. I will go back for my trim and any touchups. Jenny is very nice and experienced.
I do not recommend this shop. I made an appointment at 5pm and showed up at 4:30pm. I ended up leaving at 6:50 for a simple haircut. After cutting my hair she went on coloring others hair and washing another colored hair and did a FaceTime call before drying my hair. And the cut was nothing like what I asked for. I had thick and long hair before the cut. I asked for layered cut without length change. What did I get? I lost two thirds of my hair and majority of my hair was shorter than my shoulder. Charge was $40. It will take me years to grow the hair back. Do not take the risk. I have learned my lesson.
