I’ve been a client of M Salon for several years now. I found out about M Salon through a friend of mine who has beautiful hair and I just had to know who was doing her beautiful brunette highlights. Their location is super convenient and I love that they have valet parking! Everyone in the salon is super helpful and very attentive. It’s always squeaky clean and is so cute inside. The stylists are very skilled. I have seen Stephanie for coloring a haircut and hair extensions. And I’ve also seen Leana as well. They are both great! They listen to what your hair needs and concerns are and I always leave with a beautiful outcome. I love that they offer hair extensions. It has given me a ton of volume that my very fine hair lacks. They do a good job of making sure that you are taking care of the hair, and honestly no one can tell that I have extensions because they only use high-quality hair here. If you’re looking for a hair salon in Houston, I highly recommend M Salon.

I started coming here last summer and have always loved the service. Denis does an amazing job and consistently exceeds my expectations — I highly recommend booking with him. Unfortunately, I’m extremely disappointed with the salon’s professionalism and management. During one visit, I accidentally dropped my gold necklace on the floor. I realized it was missing when I got home and immediately texted Denis. He was kind enough to find it and turn it in to the receptionist. However, when I returned later that week to pick it up, it was nowhere to be found. I was told it had been placed in an envelope, yet the same receptionist who was there when it was turned in stayed silent when I asked who handled it. The manager and receptionist then stepped away to speak privately behind the desk and acted confused about the situation. I contacted the owner, who called me once and said she would review the footage, but I never received any follow-up. Sadly, I will not be returning, as I no longer feel I can trust the management. I will truly miss Denis, but this experience has left me very disappointed.

I’ve been coming here for haircuts with Chris since I moved to Houston in 2017, back when the salon was mainly on Richmond Avenue. The whole team know what they’re doing and will always give the customer what they want. I’m so picky about my hair and they are extremely professional and have never made me feel uncomfortable or awkward or anything of that sort. They are also always open to suggestions and changes from the customer which you hardly find anywhere else. I’m so indecisive about what I want my haircut to look like and there have been a couple of times when I went back for a redo of the haircut because I wanted even more chopped off. They always welcome that with open arms and put up with me and my indecisiveness!

On July 20th I came to this location to get my hair colored and cut. I met with the stylist about 2-3 weeks before the appointment for a consultation to discuss my specific needs. We agreed on a color and specifically told her how I wanted my hair and she reassured me she could do it and the day of the appointment everything went well up until the haircut. It was a disaster from that point on. She obviously didn’t know how to cut my hair mind you my hair is fine and thin and no other hairdresser I have been to had a problem with my hair they always did an amazing job but this was not the case here. The color was amazing exactly what I wanted but the cut was absolutely awful. The ends were uneven and I had to ask her twice to fix it but it only made it worse and I asked her to stop. The bangs I asked for and was assured she could do she couldn’t do and I was so upset and she told me give it some time to settle and it should be fine it wasn’t. I have given it almost 2 months to settle and hopefully it would work and it doesn’t at all!!!! I have to wear headbands now, I shouldn’t have to!!!!! Now my hair color has started to fade at the roots has only been a month it should not happen this soon!!!!! I have been coloring my hair for years and this has never ever happened my roots usually don’t start to show for several more weeks so obviously this color was not applied correctly or the formula or brand did not stick to my hair!!!! I am absolutely livid very upset and disappointed that I spent $350!!!!!!! It was not worth it at all and now I have to let this disaster grow out some more and save up to fix it!!!!! I should not have to do that at all and I have never had to till now has been a very rough year from losing my mom to being in a horrific car accident!!!!! I chose this salon bc of the amazing reviews boy was I wrong!!!!! I’ll never come back here again or recommend this salon. I have never left a bad review before but this time I had to I had no choice too bad I couldn’t leave 0 stars!!!!!! Hopefully I’ll find someone to help me so I can feel good about myself.

I’ve been going to Leana for five years now, and I honestly can't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. She’s been my go-to stylist through every phase, from postpartum hair recovery, when my hair needed extra love, to a visit before engagement photos. Leana was there to guide me and worked wonders, helping me feel like myself again. What I love about Leana is how she takes the time to listen to exactly what you want, while also offering her expert advice and recommendations. She knows what works best for my hair type and always helps me make decisions that I know I’ll love. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her clients, not just as a hairstylist, but as a person who wants you to feel your absolute best. Even though I’ve since moved an hour away, I still make the trip to see her because no one else has earned my trust like Leana has. She’s not just a hairstylist; she’s a partner in making me feel great about my hair. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who’s not only talented but truly dedicated to their clients!
