M & Y Auto Repair out of business.

M & Y Auto Repair was an auto repair shop at 1300 E Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124. The business is reported as out of business, so this profile is a record of its former presence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, not a notice that repairs are currently available. Its listing shows a 4.3-star rating from 23 reviews, reflecting a range of customer experiences over time. Hours are not available, and the information provided does not establish a reopening date or a current way to contact the shop. Anyone looking for service should confirm that a business is operating before making a trip.

Past customers described M & Y Auto Repair as a neighborhood garage for everyday vehicle needs. Reviews mention oil changes, tire work, inspections, and other basic repairs. Several people said they had returned for many years, including customers who described visiting for decades or since the shop opened. These accounts suggest that, while it operated, the garage served local drivers seeking routine maintenance and straightforward mechanical work. They are historical customer descriptions, however, and should not be read as a list of services available today.

Price and trust were recurring themes in positive reviews. Some customers called the prices fair or among the best they had found, and reviewers described the mechanics as honest and the work as good. One long-time customer appreciated being able to come in without an appointment and noted Saturday availability. Those details can help explain why the shop developed repeat business among some drivers, but they come from individual past reviews; current hours, appointment policies, prices, and service standards cannot be confirmed from the available information.

The feedback was not uniformly positive. One reviewer reported a very poor customer-service experience and described feeling disrespected. That account stands in contrast to other reviewers who praised the service and honesty, so the overall record is mixed rather than one-sided. For people comparing garages in Philadelphia, these reviews offer useful context about former customers’ opinions, but they do not establish what a visit would be like now, particularly because M & Y Auto Repair is listed as out of business.

For local searchers researching M & Y Auto Repair in Philadelphia, PA, the key details are its former location on E Cheltenham Avenue, its auto-repair category, and the reported 4.3 rating from 23 reviews. The historical feedback points to oil changes, tires, inspections, basic repairs, fair pricing, and a loyal customer base, alongside at least one serious complaint about treatment. Because the shop is reported closed and no hours are listed, drivers should look for a currently operating Philadelphia repair shop for immediate maintenance or repair needs. This description preserves the available history without suggesting that M & Y Auto Repair is accepting customers.
