Sign in to reviewDriving through town I saw the donut sign and decided to stop and get a donut and coffee for the family and I. We was pleasantly surprised by their selection of donuts, bagels and coffee. My son in law and I tried "Mag's sweetened,". It was delicious!! My son in law agreed. It's very similar to a Vietnamese coffee and was really good on this beer hot day. We decided to order sandwiches from their assisted selection and they were really good. I had the ham and cheese croissant. I'm not sure what everyone else ordered but at the end of the meal they all said that they really enjoyed their sandwiches. For dessert we ordered the donuts to go. My granddaughter and I enjoyed s lemon filled donut while my wife ate a Boston cream donuts and they were really good. The service here was excellent as well and the experience was great. I've booked marked Mag's Donuts for future visits.
My wife and I stumbled upon Mags Donuts & Bagels on our way to the bank and decided to stop in because we were both craving donuts. Ended up being such a great call. The donut holes didn’t even make it home, which tells you how good they were. I got a strawberry cream donut that was super light, airy, and not overly sweet, a solid and simple one I’ve had in a while. Also grabbed a cinnamon sugar, which hit that perfect soft and crunchy balance. My wife went with the custard-filled chocolate and a classic glazed, both really fresh and flavorful. You can tell these are either made in-house or baked with care because they have that doughy, melt-in-your-mouth feel you just don’t get at big chain spots. Of course, I had to grab a chocolate milk too, because nothing beats that combo. Super happy we found a little local donut shop nearby. Definitely going to be our go-to spot when those morning cravings hit.
Went here in the morning on a walnut run and was pleasantly surprised. I don't eat donuts all the time but donuts are usually good and never bad except on my thighs. But this place is better than the typical place. They make bagels in house as well as the donuts, and have a fantastic selection of bagels. In addition, the employee was very nice and helpful, the place was very clean, and plenty of nice seating for a donut bagel place. They have fresh orange juice as well. Recommended.
This place gets busy in the mornings (I counted about 30ish people in about 30 minutes), but the line moves fast. Everything is fresh, hot, and in your hands within minutes, which is a must for my impatient ass lol. The owner is always friendly and cracks me up, and the staff all bring great energy. I only discovered Mag’s a couple months ago even though I live right down the street, and now I’m here 3–4 times a week. The bacon, egg, and cheese bagels are amazing, and the donuts are soft and fresh every time.
This review is long overdue. Mag's Donut & Bagel in Tustin is a long-time favorite for our family. We particularly love the donut holes, the Palm Spring (on an onion bagel), the bacon-egg-and-cheese on a croissant, and the fresh pressed orange juice. The staff is incredible. They are good at their jobs and also so friendly. We love going here.
