I ordered the Seafood Soondubu. I was honestly disappointed. It was all tofu. There was one big shrimp and two mussels. That was it. The flavor was decent but had an after taste. The fried dumplings were good. Its a good size restaurant....only one toilet for men.
Mama Kitchen Korean is such a great spot! I love the cozy, casual atmosphere and how friendly the staff is. It’s self-service, which makes everything quick and easy. The food is delicious, portions are satisfying, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a go-to place in Frisco for good Korean food. Highly recommend! 😊
I had a bad expience. Ordered takeout, portions were small and expensive compared to other places, taste of the chicken bulgogi was off, it didnt have the right favor and the texutre was slime. The sides were strongly fish flavored and the radish was extra bitter like it wasn't pickled. Been to several other korean places before, but the food here was gross. The delivery bag was also soaked on one side because they didn't pack the soup lids tight. I'll give it a 1 star because I feel sick after eating it, maybe it's better in person, but I can't recommend take out at all.
this place is the real deal! got their soondubu with beef and got it spicy and i love that they cut up a whole jalapeño and put it in the soup. it was savory and spicy and on par with some of the soondubus i’ve had in korea. the owners and workers there were really sweet and made sure i knew where all the utensils were and how to order at the kiosk. sooooo tasty

The restaurant has a cafeteria-style setup, so it’s self-serve—simple, quick, and good. Great spot if you’re looking for straightforward Korean comfort food in Frisco.
