Maven and Co Salon

I used Maven & Co. for my wedding hair and makeup, and I truly cannot recommend them enough! Johanna, Maria, and Lori were absolutely fantastic. They provided hair and makeup services for me, my mom, and eight bridesmaids, bringing such a fun, calming, and positive energy throughout the entire day. All of us looked and felt beautiful, and the team helped make the getting-ready experience such an enjoyable part of the wedding day. Johanna was especially wonderful to work with; she was responsive, organized, and made the entire process seamless. Both she and Maria were incredibly flexible and supportive during my bridal trial and in the months leading up to the wedding. Their talent, reliability, and kind personalities made all the difference, and I’m so grateful to have had them as part of my wedding day!

I had scheduled wedding make up and up do for my wedding but I went first for a hair cut. Ms. Maria assisted me and did an excellent job. I went a couple of weeks later for my hair and make for the wedding. I apologize but I didn’t get their names because I was in a rush, but they provided an excellent service and did a great job! I was able to make an appointment directly through yelp for makeup services with Amelia, Johanna was very accommodating with getting me an appointment first thing in the morning.. the salon itself is nestled towards the back of the lot off Broadway and is super cute and cozy inside, just the right amount of chic and shabby. All of the staff was friendly and Amelia took me right on time and was done in less than an hour. I had a concert/meet and greet to go to in Austin so I needed my makeup to be on point for pictures and I'm so glad I found this gem, the pictures turned out perfect!

Maria was fantastic! She has done a blowout and updo for two vacations I went on and her work lasts. She is kind and takes pride in her work. I will definitely be referring her to all my friends and family.

Johanna, Ariel (both makeup) and Bess (hair) were just incredible artists for my wedding day! They came to my home where all the girls were getting ready and got to work quickly. Everyone's makeup and hair was done on time and looked incredible! Johanna was incredibly helpful, listened to my thoughts/opinion and also offered her own opinions when asked in a constructive manner. The reason I chose Johanna was based on positive reviews and also how she was able to make brown eyes really sparkle. I saw a photo on her website of a client with blonde hair/brown eyes similar to mine and I knew she needed to be my makeup artist! All of my bridesmaids raved about the individual lashes that they put on us, and how natural they felt. The makeup lasted all day and well into the night. Bess did my hair, as well as my mom, mother-in-law and her friend. She did an amazing job on everyone-- my mother-in-law's friend said she'd never loved a wedding look so much! Bess pinned my curls up and gave me instructions on letting them out before the wedding so they would hold-- it was these little things that helped make the day smooth and helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day! Last quick note, they accepted venmo payments which was SO easy for my bridesmaids who were all paying for their own beauty services. Highly recommend.
