If you’ve ever moved around, you know how hard it is to find a good hair stylist. Thank God I found Lex! I came to her with an impossible situation. I was new to town but also needed to get my hair done as I’m getting married in a month. (Eek!) Lex made me feel very confident during our consultation and she fit me into her schedule the very next week. (A true queen) She was so attentive and detail oriented when it came to my hair. She was also just so fun to be around! I can really tell she knows what she’s doing and puts so much care into her clients. I walked away from my appointment feeling so refreshed and beautiful. She gave me the most incredible wedding hair and I can’t wait to show it off in a few weeks! If you’re looking for a girl who can give you rich brunette hair, she’s your gal!! I hesitated leaving a review but it needs to be shared. I went in for a consult for extensions on 2/20 because I had my extensions removed from my previous salon (I relocated) and I wanted new ones before my upcoming vacation. I got scheduled with Laney and explained to her I have had extensions for over a year I just needed some new ones before I left for a cruise and wanted to find a local stylist to maintain. I got quoted (over 2x more expensive) for new hair, install, and root smudge. My appointment was scheduled for 2/27 where I had my install and all of the above services and I left for my vacation on 3/7. While I’m on my cruise I felt like my extensions were touching the tips of my ears and low and behold they were literally slipping so far down that every time I brushed my hair it would pull them out more. I was MORTIFIED because my previous extensions had never fallen even with normal grow out and I’m on a vacation where I can’t do anything. I messaged Laney right away and she said 1) I needed more hair in the beads and when I sent her photos she said 2) she should have washed my hair before install. That excuse had my face beat red because I have never needed to wash my hair before an install and my hair was not dirty… I will attach photos for reference but I paid 2k for this service just to have to go to my original hair stylist and have her reinstall it. My OG stylist said they were folded (not cut) which caused them to pucker and not lay flat, the thread used to sew them in was sporadic and not even, and there were minimal beads used when I had 160g installed. All of these reasons is why I choose to cancel future appointments. This salon is set up for social media content.

Ainsley B has been doing my hair for over a year now, and I can honestly say she has completely brought it back to life. What I love most about Ainsley is that she truly cares and focuses on the health of your hair and makes sure you leave feeling confident and educated on how to maintain it. You can tell she’s passionate about what she does, and that makes all the difference. She also creates the most comfortable, welcoming environment. I’ve walked in feeling my absolute worst and left feeling like the best version of myself. It honestly feels like a makeover and a therapy session all in one and that’s exactly what amazing girls do for each other. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your hair like it’s her own, Ainsley is your girl. 💛
