Sign in to reviewI brought my car here to get a transmission rebuilt. Over the phone he told me it would be $1,600. The car was towed over there And he told me it would be done in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later no call. I call him and he says it's going to take some more time. Over and over again He promised it would be done every Wednesday. Normally when it's not going to be done by that time you would call the customer and let them know that the car is not going to be done. Instead I had a chase him down every Wednesday to find out what's going on with my car. A complete lack of communication and leaving me in the dark. 4 months later my car was finally done. I went down there to go pick it up and rather than being $1,600 he said the new price is $2,600. We had a heated discussion because that was not what he sent over the phone. I paid him the $1,600 and had to sign an agreement saying that I agree to the additional $1,000 or he wouldn't release my car. When I got the car back the spare tire was missing and the tow package. Heat track down the tow package and the spare tire and did return it to me 3 weeks later. I paid him in full and he said there was a one year warranty. 3 weeks later after driving the car normally I'm on the freeway and a gentleman is honking at me telling me that there's a bunch of fluid leaking from the car. I pulled over and saw the fluid all over the freeway. I tried to start the car and drive off but it wouldn't go into gear. When I called him to get the warranty honored he tried to make every excuse and blame it on everything else but the transmission. It cost me $200 to tow the car from where was that back to my home. Finally he said he would agree to honor the warranty He picked up my car and drove it to Ontario which is a whole another mechanic. Come to find out that's where he got the original transmission rebuilt and didn't even do the work at his place. I'm guessing that's why it took 4 months to get my car done. When he brings the car back he didn't give me the $200 that it cost me to tow my car and he claimed that it was something else that caused the problem. He also said that he's going to avoid the warranty. Also again this time he promised me so many things that he would be here at this time and that time and he never was and I had to chase him down again for my car. When he showed up at my house he was very rude and yelling at me and super unprofessional. I will be taking him to court so he has to honor the warranty. And for the additional $1,000 that he decided to add on for no other reason. If you're considering going to this place I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A rebuild of a transmission should take 2 to 3 weeks at the most not 4 months. When there's a warranty on a car it needs to be honored and not made every excuse on how that's not what the problem is. You have been warned do not take your vehicles here unless you want it there for 4 months and the warranty to not even be worth anything. And he tells you one price and doubles the price almost. You have been fairly warned.
Great workmanship on a new engine for my car, willing to work with you on a plan to pay it and get the work done on the timeline he states. If you’re looking for a mechanic that will treat your car like his own and put the work in honestly I would suggest coming here.
Just go to a real shop
Excellent service! I've been bringing my cars to this place for years and I've always left satisfied. They repaired the transmission on my Nissan Xterra and did a great job. I recommended them to my family and friends, and they're all happy with the work, so I highly recommend them. They're reliable and very professional.
I 100% recommend this shop. I think they have very skilled people. They just repaired my car, which is a hybrid! By the way, I had been told that these cars could only be repaired at the dealership, so I took it to one. It was a big mistake because it wasn't fixed, and then they stopped responding. They told me it wasn't the same, but the car was having the same problem they had repaired. So I brought it to this shop, and it's perfect! What I like is that they also gave me a warranty! That's something any customer appreciates. It turned out great, so I recommend them 100%. 👌👌👌🙏
