I used Medi-Ryde for transportation home from a doctor appointment because I was not allowed to drive myself due to sedation that was used during a procedure. I was able to schedule with Medi-Ryde two weeks out from the date of the procedure which gave me peace of mind and made it very convenient when the day arrived. They were very responsive to every phone call I made confirming the ride, date, time and location. They also sent text messages as reminders and an email verifying my appointment. On the day of my ride, my driver - Wayne - arrived right on time. He was so cordial and friendly and we had a nice chat on the way home. I highly recommend Medi-Ryde. The price was also very reasonable considering the value of the service. Thank you, Medi-Ryde!

Driver was 25 minutes late. He dumped my frail mom with severe mobility issue in the parking lot. Also, he did not bring her wheelchair as I had requested, just left her with a walker. The dispatcher refused to accept responsibility or make a change, said "we take her as she is". Total disregard for the health of vulnerable people and unprofessional. UPDATE (Response to Owner): The staff at the clinic let me know that the driver dropped her off in the parking lot. Were they lying? It doesn't matter that my mom said she prefers the walker. She needs a wheelchair and that was the agreement with your dispatcher. If there was a discrepancy, I should have been contacted. This is a serious fall risk. The undisputed facts are: Your driver was 25 minutes late in picking up my mom. Your dispatcher forgot to update the request to have a driver with a car capable of transporting a wheelchair. You seem more interested in accusing your customers of lying rather than taking the feedback to fix your dysfunctional service.

Medi-Ryde is a fantastic transportation service. It was my first time locating and booking a company on my own. After speaking with Derrick on the phone, which happened to be a prompt reply, I knew I’d be in good hands. I’ve booked them twice already and both times the drivers were professional, polite, friendly, careful and I was not late to my appointments. The vehicles were clean inside and out, smelled fresh and cool. My husband rode with us which was a plus that he didn’t have to drive. They didn’t just leave us at the curb. Each time they delivered me into the office and picked me up from the office. I also loved the fact that the business is owned and operated by a veteran. Use Medi-Ryde…you won’t be disappointed.
