Had a horrible experience at this salon from Halee. After emailing the salon requesting compensation for the poor results I was told that it was an issue that I had to work out with the stylist herself since she didn’t work for the salon directly. Halee refused any wrongdoing and I was not compensated. I would caution people against picking a random stylist like I did when I made the appointment because a lot of other people left the salon looking great but I left with hair that lowered my self esteem significantly. Huge letdown and waste of my time and money! To be clear, I specifically asked for color darker than what I had but NOT black. You can see how well that went.
This was my first time at Medusa The Salon. I walked in and consulted with Emily about the cut and highlights I wanted. The next day I was booked. The detail and work that Emily put into my hair and experience I can’t recommend more highly. She was very professional and fun to sit with for the time it took to create my new look. I’m more than satisfied with my experience and I will be back for sure! Thanks again Emily and everyone at Medusa.
new visit edit: go to this salon to feel safe and come out sexy as hell! came back for JENNI at the brook hollow location! i know folks are hesitant about getting their hair done right now, but this salon takes safety procedures very seriously, and proper spacing was a priority. i was the first appointment of the day, the owner was there to make sure everyone was on point about that. Jenni is efficient yet meticulous and i walked out with the exact look i wanted, i'm a walking blaze of summer flames. i got to spy what other stylists were doing also, and they're all like witchdoctor-magicmakers. the downtown location is a cute little salon, my first professional haircut in a number of years because I'd just really messed my hair up doing it myself for so long. Jenni was totally understanding of my nerves and gave me a super cute short cut to get me on my way to healthy hair again!
Great work done by Cynthia.. she took her time was very attentive to what my daughter had requested and really did exactly what she asked for. We will be going back here for sure. 75$ for shampoo, deep conditioning, cut & style & tip was really a great deal. Be sue to have a photo of what you’re wanting done (before getting started)as a guide it truly helps
I worked with Brenda for highlights and a cut. She was able to fix the poor (chunky, bronze) highlights from another salon I had from 1.5 months ago and turned my hair into a beautiful icy blonde that looks well blended and natural. Since I'm naturally curly, she took that into consideration with the cut 🙂 The salon itself is very practical, there's not a lot of frills. The price is standard for a full highlight and cut. At the end of the day, get it done right the first time and don't use a Groupon somewhere else first🤦♀️
