I feel like I’ve had more negative experiences with the ladies at the front desk than I have with the doctors, which is unfortunate because the doctors themselves have been great. From my perspective, the overall experience has felt more like a money grab than genuine customer service. I’ve seen several reviews mentioning the front desk assisting other patients with payment plans, but that option was never offered or discussed with me. I understand that I could have asked about a payment plan, and I take responsibility for not speaking up about it. However, I also feel like the way the payment conversation was handled didn’t make me feel comfortable asking. Before my appointment, I was told, “Okay, this is how much you owe. How would you like to take care of that?” It was essentially presented as, “This is what you owe, so how would you like to pay cash or card?” There was no mention of any other options or an open conversation about how the balance could be handled. To me, it felt more like I was being pressured or sold to than actually being helped as a patient. On top of that, they’ve had difficulty getting my name right, and I’ve had to repeat myself multiple times, which is frustrating and makes me feel like I’m not being heard or valued as a patient. During my most recent appointment, I asked Jessica why I was being asked to pay more on top of what I had already paid. From my perspective, I had already spent a significant amount that day and went into the appointment expecting not to owe anything additional. Instead of feeling like my concern was met with empathy or understanding, her tone and demeanor changed, and the interaction felt more like an attack. I was simply asking a question about what I was being charged, but I did not feel comfortable with the way the conversation was handled. What really bothered me was how transactional the entire experience felt. Once the payment was made, the attitude seemed to change, which left me feeling like the priority was getting the payment rather than making sure I felt informed and comfortable as a patient. I’m not questioning the quality of the doctors or the care they provide. My frustration is primarily with the front-desk experience and how financial conversations are handled. Patients should be able to ask questions about their balance, understand their options, and express concerns without feeling pressured, judged, or attacked. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Yesterday I received a teeth cleaning, x-rays and dental check-up. The dental technician, Jose did an excellent job and knows his position very well! He was gentle and careful when taking the x-rays and cleaning, let me know what he would be doing to my teeth step by step and he checked if I was doing ok many times. Dr Josh is an excellent Dentist, is very attentive, answered my questions and I felt well taken care of by him and his office staff whom are always professional. This is a well ran practice and I highly recommend them.

I have been going to Meridian Dental for years and have never had a bad experience (as good as it can get going to the dentist!) Jose took care of me today and did a great job! Highly recommend. Update: just had a crown and filling done. Great job with he anesthesia, which is the worst part. Overall the experience wasn't as bad as I thought it would would be. They also did this really cool 3D rendering of my teeth to make the crown and ensure it fit well and my bite was comfortable. It looks great also.

Very disappointing customer service. I had an appointment for a deep cleaning and filling, but I was never informed beforehand that the visit would take 2.5-3 hours. Since I only had 2 hours available, I asked to proceed with just the cleaning. After the appointment, the front desk tried to charge me a $75 cancellation fee for the filling, even though I showed up and only changed the service because of the unexpected time. It felt like they cared more about charging fees than understanding the situation.
