MGA Homecare is a home health care service in Denver, Colorado, serving families who are looking for support with a child’s development and care at home. Customer experiences describe working with therapists for speech and physical therapy, including through early childhood intervention. For families, receiving support in a familiar home setting can make visits feel more comfortable and easier to fit into everyday life. The reviews reflect a range of experiences, so prospective clients may want to discuss their child’s needs, available services, and therapist continuity directly with the team before getting started.
Several families describe especially meaningful relationships with their therapists. Reviewers praise providers for being kind, caring, understanding, and attentive to family concerns. One parent shares that a therapist’s weekly visits have supported progress for their son, while another says their toddler enjoys speech lessons and looks forward to seeing the therapist. Families also mention that making sessions fun can help children feel at ease and engaged. These personal accounts offer a useful picture of the service: therapy is not only about exercises or communication goals, but also about building a positive connection with the child and family.
Speech therapy is a recurring part of the feedback. Parents describe children developing communication skills over time, including one family’s account of progress from being clinically nonverbal to speaking. Another reviewer credits a long-term therapist’s dedication with helping their child’s speech. These are individual experiences rather than guaranteed outcomes, and every child’s needs and progress are different. Reviews also mention physical therapy and early childhood intervention, giving families examples of the kinds of support others have sought through MGA Homecare. If you are comparing home health care services in Denver, ask which therapy options are currently available and whether a provider can work with your schedule and goals.
MGA Homecare is located at 4100 E Mississippi Ave Ste 1250, Denver, CO 80246. The office is listed as open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. Its listed rating is 4.6 from 35 reviews. Feedback is not uniformly positive: while many parents describe strong progress and caring therapists, another reviewer reports difficulty when a therapist became unavailable and a replacement could not be arranged. Families may wish to ask how staffing changes are handled, how concerns are communicated, and what happens if a regular therapist is unavailable. For households seeking child-focused therapy and home health care support in Denver, these questions can help determine whether MGA Homecare is a suitable fit.

We love working with Lindsey. She is the sweetest and you can see how much she enjoys being a therapist. She is super understanding and listens to any concerns that come up. We are happy to see her every week and we have loved the progress our son has made with her care.
We have had nothing but problems with MGA and their therapists. We had a speech therapist that was great with my daughter, then one day supposedly she just up and left and they had no other therapists that would work. Now a few months ago her PT messaged and said she hurt herself and would be off but would be back. I haven’t heard from her since. I tried to text her and within minutes I got a call from MGA saying she’s not coming back and they have no PTs for my daughter which is what they said 3 months ago. So they never have PTs? Or speech therapists? Which makes no sense. I am very disappointed on how this was handled and the pain this causes my severely disabled daughter who keeps losing therapists with no warning or real reason.
Andie Gelo has been with us for quite a while, through the early childhood intervention program. She's become family to us. My daughter, Willow, absolutely lights up when she comes to our home. She's like Willow's personal "Ms. Rachel". …
I have a very autistic almost 6 year old. We have been with our speech therapist for 5 years, 2‐3 days a week. He went from clinically nonverbal to being able to speak. The words he uses, are spoken perfectly, I owe that to his Therapist and her hard work and dedication. His speech therapist is one of the most important people on his care team. She helped test speech tablets, and made sure to find the right one for my son. When insurance questioned tablet needs, she helped me. She has worked close with his OT and PT over the years to ensure everyone is on the same page and meeting his sensory needs, and encouraging growth and confidence. In the last 5 years, she has gone above and beyond in every way. She has met us at school, evenings, and weekends to help accommodate our crazy schedule and my sons needs. She was let go this last week without any regard by MGA for the families that thrive on consistency, and have been deeply impacted by this ridiculous decision. My son requires routine and doesn't connect with everyone. I will never forgive MGA for their complete disregard for my family and son. My son has a better relationship with his Speech therapist, than most of our family members. He doesn't understand why she hasn't come over to play with him. When we buy workbooks, he makes me get two, because one is always for his therapist. MGA needs to learn to deal with disgruntled employees instead of letting go of amazing ones. For those of you looking for a good in home health company, this isn't it. We stayed because of his therapist, not the administration. The admins are not super helpful, and have 3rd party companies do quarterly reviews. There are better companies that will respect your family and kids. We all deserve better than MGA. Edit: In response to MGA's response, MGA is NOT able to provide my family a new therapist, as they told me last week. They do NOT have enough speech therapist to make this situation right for the families impacted. There response is full of false information.
We have been working with Andie in Lakewood for speech lessons with our toddler. Andie has been truly exceptional! She is kind, caring and makes speech lessons fun! Our son adores her and begs for her to come everyday. Our son’s speech has absolutely blown up and we are so happy with the results!!! Highly recommend!!!
