Families’ reviews especially describe therapy services including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. These services can be particularly relevant for children transitioning home after a hospital stay, building feeding skills, navigating new stages such as solids and toddlerhood, or developing movement milestones. One parent shared that a speech therapist offered helpful insight after their child came home from the hospital and later began eating solids. Another family described seeing progress from learning to sit to beginning to try standing with the support of a physical therapist.

What stands out in customer feedback is the personal connection families can develop with individual therapists. Reviewers describe therapists as skilled, kind, patient, and dedicated, with specific appreciation for professionals who helped children process challenges or pursue their goals over time. Home-based sessions may give children the opportunity to practice in the environment they know best, while giving caregivers a chance to observe, ask questions, and take part in the child’s ongoing routine. That familiar setting can be an important consideration for families looking for pediatric therapy support at home.

MGA Homecare in Austin, TX may be a fit for parents and caregivers who are looking into speech, physical, or occupational therapy for a child and value individualized, in-home interaction. As with any care provider, it can be helpful to discuss current service availability, therapist coverage areas, scheduling, and the specific therapies needed before beginning care. Reviews include both positive experiences with therapists and a concern regarding wait times and changes in coverage, so asking clear questions about timing and continuity can help families make an informed decision. With a 3.9 rating from 15 reviews, MGA Homecare remains a local option to consider when seeking pediatric home health and therapy services in Austin.

Rachel was our son’s speech therapist after being discharged from the hospital. She saw him briefly the week he came home and saw that he was eating from the bottle just fine. We called her back when he started on solids. Her insight and advice has been amazing as we navigate toddlerhood; we still reference her tips and tricks after she discharged him from speech for the second time. Rachel gave us a lot of confidence and helped us recognize when things were fine versus when there was something that needed to be addressed. She even visited him at his daycare to see how he was eating in other environments. 10/10; we’ll keep her updated on his progress and will have her back if we need more help :)

We were with MGA for the past year and half, recently the physical therapist told us that her coverage area will be changing, her last day was last week, the physical therapist was pretty cool, but the management is poorly running this business,we have been on the waitlist for OT for a year.
