Some things are just better if you reach out and touch them - like second dates, shoes - and computer keyboards. That's where old style Brick and mortar stores like Micro Center can still have an edge over online shopping. Unfortunately, the stor in Tustin is pretty big and their salespeople are certainly knowledgeable, but there's just not enough space to display yhem so that you can comfortably try them all out. What's more, many items were open boxes and in one case it was clear that someone had replaced one key with another key from a different keyboard! My first choice wasn't to my liking so fortunately, I was able to easily return it and buy a different brand.

This place is like The Costco of electronics everything you need under one roof. A good friend that pretty much is family to me built me a costume computer, we picked out all the components and an employee helped us with everything priced match an item he knew was cheaper on Amazon . Great experience going down here I recommend come here for everything and if you liked Fry’s Electronics you will love Micro Center

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the outstanding team at Micro Center for the exceptional service I received while upgrading the SSD in my Microsoft Surface Pro X. After updating my computer to the latest version of Windows, I quickly discovered that I did not have enough storage space to continue using my device effectively. I was concerned about my options and needed assistance as soon as possible. From the moment I arrived, Nick, the technician, along with managers Josh and Rose, and sales associate Kevin, went above and beyond to help me. They took the time to understand my situation, explained the upgrade process clearly, and worked together to ensure everything was handled efficiently and professionally. What impressed me most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. They made sure my SSD upgrade was completed in a timely manner, answered all of my questions, and ensured that I was completely happy with the results before I left. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, my Surface Pro X is running smoothly again with the storage space I needed. Exceptional customer service is hard to find, and these four individuals truly set the standard. Thank you, Nick, Josh, Rose, and Kevin, for your professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care. You turned a stressful situation into a positive experience, and I am extremely grateful. I highly recommend Micro Center and especially this fantastic team to anyone in need of computer upgrades, repairs, or technical assistance.

Was looking for a phone for my girl and asked an employee about what hardware features the Blu N4 had. Received a moderately okay response, but then was directed to "just get a raspberry pi if I care about that stuff," and the employee walked away. I hunted him down and flexed a bit, talking about HALO networks I've ran with a ham radio sdr setup on a RPI, and watched this mans eyes glaze over. On another occasion, I was sold a IdeaPad Lenovo tablet, where the employee had stated it came with a case and screen protector. This was not the case, and we were also not offered the price match to best buy, where we ultimately purchased the tablet. On another occasion, I came in looking for raspberry pi hats, and was told "if you use a pi, you should already know what you want," then left to my own devices. Overall, the store is nice and the product is good if you know what you are looking for, but the service is getting worse as of late. Sadly been shopping at seed studio, digikey, best buy, and Amazon, as opposed to microcenter due to the terrible service. As the employees left me to do, I'll just handle it all myself. Sad times :(

I recently placed an online pickup order for a large amount of UniFi gear, including a bundle of three G6 turret cameras. The pickup went smoothly, but after making the long drive home to LA, I realized I only had two of the three cameras. I blamed myself for not checking before leaving and started to accept that I might just be out $200. I reached out to support, and they initiated an investigation. After a few days and some follow-up calls, they reviewed their internal footage and MAC address scans, which all showed things checking out on their end. Without any exterior footage to confirm, I figured I must have accidentally left the third camera in my shopping cart in the parking lot. I was ready to just take the loss, but the manager kindly offered me a solid discount on a replacement camera to help out. It's a long drive back to the store, so I placed another online order for a UniFi PDU Pro just to justify the trip, hoping the discount on the camera would be at least $50 to $100 off. To my absolute surprise, when I went to pick it up, the replacement camera only cost me a single penny! I’ll probably never know exactly what happened to the original one, but Microcenter truly went above and beyond to do right by me. For any UniFi gear I need in the future, this will absolutely be my go-to spot.
