Sign in to reviewValeria did the most amazing updo that held up literally from 9 am- 2 am! My hair survived riding a mechanical bull (twice) & dancing all night long! I highly recommend getting your hair done by Valeria for your next event. She will listen to what you want and make your hair look so amazing!
I wanted to reach out regarding my recent hair appointment. I truly tried to be positive about the results, but after giving it time, I realized I should have spoken up sooner. I am extremely sad and disappointed with the results. I scheduled the appointment for full blonde highlights, regarding that I had previously gotten highlights done in march it was time for a touch up. I went in expecting expecting a lighter, brighter result similar to the reference photos I provided. Instead, my hair came out a mix of ginger, copper, orange, gold, and brown tones that appear brassy and do not resemble the look I wanted. I recognize that I may have contributed to the confusion when asked if I preferred a gold or ash tone, as I was unsure of the difference and mentioned “gold.” However, I did show the reference photos of what I wanted again for clarification, and I believed we were on the same page about the desired outcome since she said okay. Once she was done with the service I realized it doesn’t look like how I expected but I was scared to speak up since she was already done. I gave it a day trying to convince myself it’s not what I payed for but it’s okay, but I just couldn’t like it. I contacted the stylist afterward, and she kindly offered to re-tone my hair at no cost at her place. It was not a great experience it was uncomfortable and unprofessional but I had agreed in hopes of bettering my hair. Unfortunately, the toning did not improve the color, and I was told that I would need to schedule another appointment to achieve the look I originally requested. After paying $300 for full blonde highlights, I do not feel it is fair to pay an additional $300 to correct something that I was supposed to get the first time. I have been really sad about my hair and it is not something I can hide. I came very excited for a new look and trusted the stylist because I had seen her beautiful work on others but ended up crying over the results. I know the stylist is talented and has done great work in the past, but this outcome does not match the reference photos and is not what I paid for at all. I have been crying over the results because it just looks so bad. I would greatly appreciate either a refund or a corrective service to fix my hair. I have important events coming up and cannot go out with my hair looking a mess. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope we can find a fair resolution.
Shoutout to Amani for an amazing Express Facial that I booked last minute before my flight! It definitely didn’t feel “express”—it was incredibly relaxing from start to finish. Amani took the time to provide a thoughtful, professional consultation and tailored the treatment to my skin. The massage was so relaxing and she really took her time. The products they use are top-notch (and smell absolutely divine!), and the entire experience felt luxurious. The spa itself is beautiful and so inviting, with a gorgeous waiting area and thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks. I only wish they had this spa in New Jersey—I would absolutely become a regular!
Even though I don’t live in Austin anymore, milk + honey is still one of my first stops every time I’m back in town. It was my go-to spa when I lived here, and years later it’s just as wonderful as I remember. Whether it’s a massage, a hair appointment, or just a little self-care, they always deliver. The entire experience feels calm, luxurious, and genuinely welcoming. It’s one of those places that never disappoints, and I’m so glad it’s still part of my Austin routine.
Spouse booked a father’s day massage for me. She was excited for me to try it out as she’s always had a great time. Arrived 20 minutes early. When checking in, the gentleman disappeared and didn’t return. Standing at the front desk another lady asked if I had been helped, stated I was being helped but waiting now. She finished the check-in pointed me to the locker room and said enjoy. Upon entering the locker room a 2 of the lockers were empty with nothing inside. Chose a locker and began to undress. Looking around for the robes and sandals, I had to call the front desk from inside the locker room to ask about the robes and sandals. Said they would send someone right away. The guy who was originally checking in showed up and opened a storage locker and gave me a robe and dug through a bin for sandals. Asked if they had a larger robe, replied that this is all they had. Went to use the restroom before finding which door was to the waiting room. The lightbulb was out so I used the flashlight on my phone to use the restroom. Found the waiting room. Water Dispenser was empty and walked out to the lobby in robe and sandals to get some water. Front desk just looked at me instead of wondering why I was in the lobby getting water in a robe. Massage was great. Katie White talked me through her routine and gave me some printouts with stretches I could do. Was the only highlight. Never given a tour, not shown to use the locks in the locker room, used the restroom by flashlight, no robes or sandals available. A lady that was training checked me out. Said she couldn’t find the multiple gift cards we had on file. Had to call my wife for her to speak with and confirm the emails Milk and Honey had sent us. After the phone call I asked to validate my parking, she gave a face a took my receipt. Still had to pay for parking upon exiting. Not sure if going through staffing issues but have received better service elsewhere. Appointment was 2pm with Katie White, 6-21-26
