MINT dentistry | Las Colinas

Needed to find a Dentist to fit into my PTO last minute and found that this place was near where I live. This was not only a one of a kind experience for my first visit, but everything was great from the initial x-rays to even having my choice of music to listen to while waiting for everything. I love unique experiences that stands out among the competition and this MINT location was great. Looking forward to my next visit!😁

Offices like these are the exact reason why there is a general mistrust of dentists and why some go as far as to call them scammers 1st, I picked this dentist because I saw a billboard ad that said free whitening. After calling, I learn that it’s a take home kit. A little misleading but whatever, I wanted to get a cleaning anyways and a free take home kit is fine, still something to be excited about & if it was the only thing, it wouldn’t even be worth mentioning I show up to my appt and paid $159.20 for a membership that includes a free cleaning. The girl at the front says “if the doctor diagnoses a deep cleaning then those are $200+ depending on which cleaning” and I go “yeah I won’t be doing that”. She makes a face but continues to talk about other aspects of the membership, and taking my payment. At this point, I’m under the impression that the basic cleaning, which is included in the membership, is what I’m getting. And if I decide to get a deeper cleaning, recommended by the dentist, then it would be $200+ as a separate thing At the end, the dentist “diagnoses” a cleaning that he specifically notes is not a deep cleaning. Ok sounds great. The other front desk lady comes in after he leaves with a paper saying the cleaning will be $260 and $450 for a night guard. I said “yeah that’s too high, I’m sorry” and then she’s nice and understanding then tells me to follow her (to another room? No, to the front). That’s as far as they’ll go and they won’t even do the basic cleaning (WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE SCAM OF A MEMBERSHIP) because the “doctor” “diagnosed” a deeper cleaning. She said if I change my mind and decide to get the $260 cleaning then I can come back and get the included basic cleaning for free. (Holding it for ransom? What is this, a timeshare presentation?) I told her that wasn’t properly disclosed. She apologized and I asked her to please cancel my membership. She can’t do that either, I need to email the company. Ok. I feel like I just threw away $160 and wasted an hour of my life for no reason. I called corporate to ask for a refund. The lady on the phone was super sweet and understanding. She helped me escalate it to customer relations and told me I should hear back same day or next day. I have not heard back yet but will be calling on Tuesday. And I did some reading and apparently this is common with mint dentistry. Dental health is very important and it is not fair that people need to navigate manipulative sales tactics when trying to find health care. I want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anybody else And the saddest part is that I’m growing roots in this area. I would’ve gladly paid $260 a few months from now had they given me my INCLUDED basic cleaning that day. I would’ve even taken my kids back to them because I would’ve TRUSTED them.

I went in today with an emergency pain. I paid $199 for there plan for them to tell me they couldn't do anything today because I needed to see a specialist for a root canal. The plan comes with a free whitening as well as free teeth trays. Remind you im in pain. 2 assistance ask me if I want to get the cleaning and the trays. I said shouldn't I wait to do that since I am in pain they said well you can. I said won't it irritate my mouth more? One lady said oh your recommended for the deep clean so you can't get your free white cleaning until you get the deep clean. I said ok. I look down at the little brochure they gave me with prices. It's another $200 for a deep cleaning. I was so confused. So I guess nothing is really FREE. Mint dentistry i think some need a little more training or knowledge. Don't get me wrong the staff was nice but everything was so rushed and non personable. I was there no more then 15 minutes.

Everyone is always nice, courteous and professional. Christian was extremely nice and respectful. Answering all of my questions on top of giving me great advice on dental hygiene. Also complementing me on my current dental status. He did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth.

In all the year's of going to the dentist. Having multiple procedures and deep cleanings. This by far was the greatest experience I've ever had!!! Dr. Hill is a magician!!! I've found my forever dentist. I would give 10 stars if I could. Everyone there is remarkable!!!
