MINT dentistry | South Arlington

After hearing the ads on the radio for months I figured I would give them a try. I can honestly say that this place more than met my expectations. My cleaning was enjoyable and I never felt like anyone was trying to sell me something like at other dentists that I have been to over the years. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant. I wish I had written down more names, but Dr Hardaway was delightful to deal with. Definitely give them a try and get your free personalized tooth whitening setup!

I hardly ever give poor reviews but my experience today at MINT Denistry in Arlington was NOT GOOD. My appointment was scheduled at 9:00 am. I was told to arrive by 8:45 am to do paperwork which I did. Completed the 11 page digital intake form which took around 20-30 minutes. They took my payment then I waited.....and waited....took a work call...and waited more. They finally got me back in the chair and took X-rays. At that time, I got a text that my appointment was coming up at 10:15 am ....really?! After X-rays, a doctor came in to look at my teeth and review the X-rays. Then she told me another person would come in with my "treatment plan". Side note: I brush and floss my teeth daily and go to my dentist regularly. He recent retired so I thought I'd try someone closer. Bad move! The young lady finally came in with what would have totaled around $3000 for my "treatment plan" which included a deep cleaning, exchange of fillings, maybe a crown and/or root canal. Huh??? No thanks! I said I just wanted a regular cleaning. They looked at me like I was crazy for refusing then said they'd have to talk to the doctor (who I never saw again!) The dental hygienist came back saying I'd have to sign a refusal form to refuse the treatments and ONLY get a regular cleaning. Sheesh After all that was done, I got my regular cleaning. I asked about the teeth whitening since it was supposed to be included in what I paid for. "Well, it is included but because you might need other work, we don't recommend it because your teeth might change shape." Oh my goodness, yeah I understand that but give me what I paid for...nope So, bottom line, if you choose to go to MINT Denistry, prepare to waste half of your day (I was there for 3 hours for X-rays and a regular cleaning)....oh, and bring a truckload of money for your "treatment plan"! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I gave them 2 stars because the people working there were nice. Otherwise, they would have received 1 ⭐

Literally the best experience at the dentist in my 26 yrs of living. The assistant was super informative and very thorough with my cleaning. 10/10 highly recommend if all offices are even half as pleasant.

Last week, I attempted to book a teeth cleaning appointment for my husband and was told that our usual clinic in north Arlington (TX) was booked up but that the south Arlington clinic was free so I booked it. When I arrived, a high-pressure sales pitch for deep cleaning (not covered by insurance) was given citing deep bone loss. He gets his teeth cleaned every six months and has never been told anything about bone loss, so he was skeptical and declined the deep cleaning, but asked the lady with the clipboard (who wanted the procedure approval) if he would still get the regular cleaning today if he didn't agree to the deep cleaning and she answered yes. However, they only polished and flossed - no plaque scaling was done at all. He felt pressured and when he didn't give in, they seemed to not care and only wanted him out of the office. A call to the office manager gave conflicting answers and a general disinterest in making it right.

Omg if I could buy all them lunch I would. Everything was PERFECT! My first time at mint and I can omg I love both of my care team. I’m changing my kids to Mint! I wish I could advertise for mint bc they’re absolutely great and the radio advertisements was very truthful
