Mixed Pantry

While I haven’t been to the store in person, I placed an online order for a coffee syrup and had the best experience! My order was shipped and arrived extremely fast. It was securely packaged. Last but not least, the person who packed my order left the most thoughtful and kind note, which truly made my day! It was just a small gesture, but it made me smile. I’d definitely order from here again, or hopefully be able to visit if I’m ever in the area one day! Thank you!

I have been meaning to visit Mixed Pantry for awhile now and after having visited, I regret not visiting sooner. My wife and I were kindly greeted by Tak the owner and it just felt like a welcoming place. I was impressed by the wide array of trendy Asian goods that are stocked at the store. From sauces, soup bases, jams, mixes, chips, tea mixes (like the Cafe Maddy sweet potato latte mix), etc. you can spend a lot of time just perusing everything. I could have easily spent a ton of money if I wasn't careful because everything looked so good. Tak is such a friendly guy and I really appreciated how enthusiastic he was about the Asian food things that I was enthusiastic about - like the wings at Pok Pok in Portland. We had some questions about the sauces and he was so happy to let us try some of the open jars. Because of this, I think he introduced me to probably one of my all-time favorite kaya jams now - the Hey Boo Mango Coconut Jam - it reminds me of like a mango custard - it's amazing. I recommend anyone who likes food to visit this shop. The things sold here are great and Tak is a great guy. I hope to be back soon!

My new favorite store in Seattle! Such an excellent selection of chili oils and sauces. The owner is so knowledgeable and so helpful - he helped me pick out a new chili oil I haven't tried before. And he introduced me to a locally made XO sauce that was really delicious - and I even got to meet the maker! Will definitely visit again when I'm back in town. Highly recommend if you're looking to discover new Asian flavors - you can even taste any sauce. Love this place.

Stopped in here when I saw some snacks in the window and left with two chili oils, MSG, and recommendations for next time. This store has such a variety of textures and flavors and the owner is incredible helpful and knowledgeable in all things flavor. Was an incredible place to shop and 10/10 will come again. I recommend a tasting if you have the time!!!
