Mobile mechanic

Mobile mechanic is a mobile auto repair shop serving drivers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a listed address at 4525 N 6th St, Philadelphia, PA 19140. Rather than requiring every customer to bring a vehicle to a traditional shop, the service is described in customer reviews as coming to the vehicle for repairs and diagnostic work. That can be useful when a car or truck is not running reliably or getting it to a repair location is inconvenient. The business is listed as open every day, around the clock; contact the mechanic directly to confirm availability and arrange a visit.

Reviews identify Dee as the mechanic and describe work that includes replacing a starter, diagnosing vehicle problems, and repairing a truck. One customer says Dee traveled to Delaware to install a new starter, while another reports that he came out the same day to fix a truck. These are individual customer experiences, not a promise of service outside Philadelphia or a guarantee of same-day appointments. For a vehicle that will not start, a truck needing attention, or another repair concern, share the make, model, symptoms, and location when asking whether the job can be handled on-site.

Customers who praise the service often mention quick communication, punctuality, straightforward explanations, and reasonable labor prices. One reviewer appreciated learning more about her car and feeling that the work and pricing were explained transparently. Another described getting a diagnosis and repair within a couple of hours after the mechanic arrived. For drivers who want to understand what is being recommended before agreeing to a repair, clear questions about the diagnosis, parts, labor, and total cost can help set expectations.

The feedback is not uniformly positive: one reviewer reported that Dee arrived without tools or a jump starter and questioned the diagnosis given for several vehicles. Experiences can differ, so it is sensible to confirm what equipment and diagnostic steps will be available for your specific issue before scheduling. Mobile mechanic has a 4.4-star rating based on 80 reviews, offering prospective customers a broader picture alongside the individual accounts.

Based in North Philadelphia, Mobile mechanic may suit local drivers looking for a direct conversation with a mechanic and repair help at their vehicle. It may also be worth contacting for a starter issue, a truck repair, or an initial assessment, while confirming the exact service, timing, and price beforehand. The listed address is on N 6th Street, and the stated daily hours provide a broad window for inquiries. For the clearest estimate, describe what the vehicle is doing and ask whether the repair can be completed where it is parked.
