Mobile Mechanic

I can’t say enough good things about this mechanic. He showed up at my house at 9 in the morning and worked straight through until 10 at night. He pulled the old engine out of my 2008 Cadillac CTS right in my garage and installed the replacement. Other companies promised me that they would have it done in a week. What was supposed to take two days, According to the Machanic, He finished in just one day. This is my second time calling up on him to work on my vehicle. He is always professional, dedicated, and honest. He shows great care and attention to detail. Thank you for your expertise, my car is running great. I truly appreciate your hard work and commitment. As someone who’s dealt with plenty of car issues (and grew up with a mechanic for a dad), I know how expensive and time-consuming repairs can become at traditional shops. Tin completely changed that experience. He came out the same day to diagnose my Jeep, was incredibly responsive by text, and kept me updated in real time throughout the repair. My engine repair and full tune-up were completed within a week, but six of those days were due to my own schedule. He easily could have finished it within 24 hours if I’d been available. What I appreciated most was the transparency. I could see exactly what was being done to my vehicle instead of wondering what was happening while it sat at a shop. The pricing was unbeatable too. Mr. Tin to the rescue!! I was doing a normal oil and oil filter change on my 5.7 tundra. Before this I had a local shop to perform the oil changes. I didnt have the basic tools until recently to do my own oil changes. Long story short, the oil filter cap was stuck. All of the fluid was already drained, pan and in the filter housing. Using the correct toyota filter cap tool, it didnt want to loosen. Thinking its stuck closed, I used a torque wrench set to 40lbs, way enough to break it loose. Break it did! The fins broke under the pressure and with the fins, a hole to empty out what little oil remains in the filter housing. Knowing i dont have the tools to be much more aggressive, I called around for a mobile mechanic to see if they can break it loose. Mr. Tin said he can do it and the soonest he can help is 6pm that evening. Before he arrived, I did a side quest to toyota for a replacement oil cap. Any aftermarket option would have arrived in 2 days which didnt work cause I need the truck to travel. Mr. Tin arrived that evening and got to work. He pulled out all of the tools he got to tackle this issue. After about 20 minutes, 2 holes with a help of a sledge hammer, and alot of leverage, the oil filter loosen and finally came out. In went the new oil filter and cap, finished up the oil change and the truck was back up and running. For the amount of work he did, his price was very reasonable, and will definitely use his services in the future for other things. He was very nice, explained why and the possible reasons the cap was on so tight, and that it only needed to be hand tightened on. By my observation and interaction with him, he is a very hard worker as he runs a shop during the day while doing mobile mechanic work into the late night. When he was done with his service, he had 2 more appointments to go to, and it was already around 8:30pm.

Tin was fantastic! Not just the work he did on my car and my wife’s car but he actually took time to have a conversation and get to know me. I’m going to him now from now on and I recommend him to anyone who needs work done. He’s honest and efficient!
