Mochi's Deli is a sandwich shop at 2216 Park Rd in Charlotte, NC, drawing local attention for generously flavored sandwiches and a menu that gives people plenty to talk about. With a 4.7-star rating from 91 reviews, it has become a place Charlotte diners are curious to try. Customers often say it is hard to pick just one favorite: the menu’s range is part of the appeal, whether you are craving a familiar deli-style sandwich or something with a different flavor profile.

Standouts mentioned by customers include the Italian, the bulgogi Philly, and the chicken Caesar cutlet. Reviewers describe the Italian as full of flavor and made with high-quality ingredients, while the bulgogi Philly has been praised for arriving fresh and hot. The chicken Caesar cutlet has also earned enthusiastic feedback, though one diner wished it had a little more lettuce. These varied orders make Mochi’s a promising choice for a group with different sandwich preferences. You can also browse drinks and chips, and cheesecake has received a positive mention from a customer.

The experience sounds focused on made-to-order food and a team that takes care with each sandwich. One customer noticed the staff working quickly but meticulously, an encouraging detail if you appreciate attention to preparation. At the same time, reviews mention that a wait can happen, so it may not be the best stop when you need food immediately or are especially hungry. Seating appears limited, with a few chairs for people waiting, and the general setup is described as walk-in and walk-out rather than a place to settle in for a long meal. Hours are not listed in the available business information, so check current details before making a special trip.

Mochi’s Deli may suit Charlotte residents looking for a satisfying lunch, visitors exploring Park Road, or sandwich fans who enjoy trying something beyond the usual deli order. It can also work for friends or couples who want to compare different sandwiches and share a sweet finish. Customers have noted throwback arcade games and a free claw machine, adding a playful touch while you wait; the reviews do not describe a full-service dining atmosphere, so plan for a casual visit. Feedback is not unanimous: one reviewer found the bulgogi fries basic, with warm fries and a modest amount of beef. As with any popular local spot, experiences can vary by order and visit. If you are in Charlotte, Mochi’s Deli is a distinctive sandwich option to consider for its praised sandwiches, relaxed approach, and menu variety.

The buzz about this place is unreal. EVERYONE is talking about it. If you ask someone who’s been, they don’t have one sandwich to recommend. Unanimously, they say that anything and everything is good.i had the bulgogi Philly. It was fresh and hot, but don’t go if you are hangry because the wait can get super long, and there have been days where they run out of food and close early.

Three words - worth the wait!!! The Italian was the best sandwich I’ve had in Charlotte - high quality ingredients and lots of flavor! Also had the pleasure of watching the team work while I waited and was in awe, they work quickly, but meticulously - taking so much care with each sandwich - can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I have been looking forward to this restaurant opening and it did not disappoint! Sandwiches were great and the service was wonderful too. Cheesecake was delicious! They even have throwback arcade games and a claw machine for free!

Wow. Where has this place been all my life?! Could have used a bit more lettuce on the chicken caesar cutlet but otherwise 10/10. SO good. Like … really, REALLY good. Great selection of drinks and chips. Didn’t try to desserts but I’m sure …

Atmoshpere: walk in walk out, a few chairs for waiting Customer Service: Standard Food was Meh 2.5-3/5 (over hyped like most places in Charlotte): Beef Bulgogi fries: Fries were just warm, very little beef, I didn't like their kimchi, wasn't sauced or garnished, very basic. 2/5 I recommend asking for kimchi on the side. Chicken Caesar Cutlet Roll (Best We Tried): Caesar dressing tasted like it was made in house, nicely dressed, fresh tomato and lettuce, cutlet is not seasoned but good. 4/5 Roast Been Asian Sandwich: Beef lacked flavor and not tender at all. My least favorite roll. 1/5 Italian Choper Cheese: No caramalization on the beef, just mushy chopped chopped and chopped some more beef, not seasoned, and cheese. 3/5
