Its reported rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 109 reviews, offering a useful snapshot of customer experiences.

Reviews mention artists Jupiter, Kaleb, and Tony by name. Customers praise Jupiter’s artistic ability and describe receiving two tattoos during a same-day visit; another reviewer says the team was honest about availability before fitting in a time-sensitive request. Kaleb is described as light-handed and talented, with beautiful work and easy conversation. Repeat customers also share strong appreciation for Tony, including people who have returned for tattoos for themselves and their partners. These are individual customer accounts, but together they point to a shop where clients value both the artwork and the interaction.

The atmosphere comes through as comfortable and unpretentious. Reviewers mention feeling at ease after walking in, chatting with the artists, and finding a range of artistic styles among the team. That may suit first-time visitors who want a friendly setting, people looking for a walk-in when scheduling allows, and returning clients who prefer working with an artist they already know. A customer’s playful review calls the result so good that it made them want more tattoos; beneath the joke is a clear expression of satisfaction with the finished work.

Monkey Fist Tattoo is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and closed Sunday and Monday. The shop is located at 2900 W 44th Ave, Denver, CO 80211. If you have a specific design, placement, style, or deadline in mind, contact the shop to ask about artist availability, appointment options, and whether a walk-in can be accommodated. Confirming those details ahead of time can help you decide which artist and visit plan work best for your tattoo.
