Sign in to reviewThey gave me a day's old bread today. I've been going here for years, always getting the special or plain baguettes. Today, I got their mini baguettes (not my first time) and the lady took the only bag that was sitting in their glass cabinet. I had a weird suspicion but did not think they would give me old bread so didn't bother to look them. I just took a look. New bread does not flake off like this. If I didn't live 30 minutes away, I would go request new ones.
Coming into the OC we expected to find really good banh mi shops all over. It was early morning and my bf was hoping to find a banh mi trang for breakfast. We saw the positive reviews and stopped by. The baguettes are baked daily according to the packaging. The bread was pretty hard for a fresh baguette. The filling was not typical of banh mi missing the pickled vegetables and sriracha. Overall it was okay not what we expected.
Small little pick up shop that serves banh mi sandwiches. No place to sit down if you're looking to dine in, but don't let that deter you from stopping by. Might be my new favorite spot for this. I love their Saigon Bacon banh mi. Highly recommend!
Good sandwiches at a great price. The feature here seems to be the bread. I think the owner was trained in France so the baguettes are authentic? I wish I had time to try everything on the menu so maybe I will over the next few visits to SoCal. That ice coffee though.... So so good. Didn't sleep much after drinking one.
I came here a few years ago from florida and loved it so much I took 10 sandwiches back home. It was so good I came back. All of these are scrumptious and I highly recommend
