MT Supermarket

Not far from the I-35 exit for a quick exotic snack. Tried 1 of the sweet snacks @ the front of this Asian grocery store. Had a decent selection of mostly Vietnamese snacks that look to be either made locally or in Houston. The Triple Tapioca Layer snacks tastes surprisingly good! Sweet with a firm jello-like consistency with a coconut flavor. Light pandan taste. Good size grocery store with decently-spaced aisles. Fresh fruit & veggie selection looks plentiful & organized.

This Asian supermarket is the real thing (old school), things aren’t nicely stacked, organized or labeled. Instead they just offered various options and from different Asian countries. We founded bunch of old fashioned spices and ingredients that wasn’t available in 99 Range or H Mart. The seafood section wasn’t as fresh looking however the prices are slightly better. Come and visit if you like to see what’s real.

Exceptional variety and incredibly fresh seafood; MT Supermarket in the Chinatown Center on North Lamar is an absolute goldmine if you're looking for an incredible selection of international ingredients. The sheer volume and variety of food materials you can find obscure sauces, different kinds of Asian greens, or premium sushi rice, they have it all. Beyond the groceries, their housewares aisles are a huge highlight. They are fully stocked with high-quality Japanese food preparation equipment. The seafood department is another major draw. Instead of just offering frozen options, they maintain an impressive array of live tanks loaded with fresh fish, lobsters, and live crabs.

MT Super Market is one of the best Asian grocery stores I have visited. The moment you walk in, you can immediately notice how clean, organized, and well-maintained the store is. The aisles are spacious, products are arranged neatly, and everything feels fresh and inviting. It creates such a comfortable shopping experience compared to many crowded supermarkets. One thing I truly love about MT Super Market is the incredible variety of products they offer. They have a huge selection of Asian groceries, fresh produce, seafood, meats, frozen foods, snacks, drinks, sauces, spices, and hard-to-find ingredients from many different cultures. Whether I am looking for Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, or Japanese products, they almost always have exactly what I need. Their produce section is especially impressive because the vegetables and fruits always look fresh and high quality. The seafood and meat departments are also excellent. Everything looks fresh, clean, and properly displayed. I appreciate how organized and hygienic the store is because it makes shopping for fresh food feel much more trustworthy and enjoyable. What makes the experience even better is the customer service. The staff members are always friendly, polite, and willing to help customers find products. Even during busy hours, the employees remain professional and patient. The cashiers work efficiently, and checkout is usually quick and smooth. It’s clear that the management truly cares about maintaining a positive shopping environment for customers. Another thing I appreciate is that the prices are reasonable considering the quality and variety they provide. It saves me so much time because I can find almost everything I need in one trip instead of visiting multiple stores. Overall, MT Super Market is an amazing place to shop. Between the huge product selection, excellent cleanliness, fresh ingredients, and outstanding customer service, it has become one of my favorite supermarkets. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality Asian groceries and a pleasant shopping experience.
