You cannot beat this spot for banh mi sandwiches! They are so friendly and fast and the prices are great! I came in on a Saturday afternoon for a banh mi on my way to the beach. Parking is tough in Chinatown but it’s worth driving around. I ordered #1 special sandwich - the traditional banh mi - and it was exceptional! It came out so fresh. The pickled vegetables were crunchy and I absolutely loved the bread. They offered traditional tea while you waited and I was able to sit outside with my dog. I absolutely will be back

The banh mi was awesome and only $6. Freshly baked bread and the sandwich itself had great flavor. We tried a #1 and a #3. Nomlife recommendation - Cash only!

Not a bad sandwich. Tried the grilled pork and shredded tofu sandwiches. Both had a good flavor overall, made with rice flour baguettes, some nice spicy jalapenos, and pickled veg and cilantro. About $7 per ($14 total). Was a little annoyed cause the info online last said $6 per (also says $3 per and $5 per sandwich on these google maps menus), so I almost didn't have enough and had to find another dollar cause theyre cash only. They asked if we wanted coffee but I already had one so I didn't try. They'll set a plastic stool out on the sidewalk for you to chill, Hanoi style. Almost made me wanna squat by the side of the road and pull a long drag off a cig. Anyway, decent sandwich and I guess a decent price for LA. Check it out.

I've been visiting this hidden gem for over a decade, and I can confidently say that their bánh mì remains some of the best I’ve ever had in Chinatown! The #1 option with cold cuts and Vietnamese-style meatloaf is incredibly flavorful. I might be mistaken, but I detect a lovely smoky note that elevates the entire sandwich. The bread is truly exceptional—fresh, soft on the inside, and perfectly crunchy on the outside. It’s the ideal baguette to complement the vibrant fillings. Every bite is a delightful mix of textures and flavors that keeps me coming back for more. If you’re in the area, you have to give this place a try!

Great banh mi sandwich in Chinatown especially for the price ($6). I certainly would not have discovered it if it weren't for yelp, as the location is certainly no frills and small and easy to miss if you are not looking for it. Note that the place is cash only and there is no place to eat it, so don't plan on coming here if you wish to dine in. Tip: Also not too far from the China Town Metro Station (A-Line) if you want to walk from there.
