My Favorite Mechanic

I took my 2020 Chevy Silverado (114K miles) to David after I started experiencing transmission issues—slipping, hesitation, and the usual signs that something wasn't right. I was worried I was looking at a very expensive repair, maybe even a complete transmission replacement. Instead of jumping straight to the most costly option, David recommended starting with a transmission fluid exchange (he had even invested in a new transmission fluid exchange machine). As it turns out, that's all my truck needed. He easily could have recommended a new transmission or a torque converter replacement and charged me thousands of dollars, but he didn't. That kind of honesty is hard to find these days, especially with so many large, corporate repair shops focused on $$$. On top of that, David is incredibly responsive—he returns calls and texts promptly and keeps you informed throughout the process. I highly recommend David at My Favorite Mechanic to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic they can trust. If I could give him 6 stars, I would.

I have been coming to David since 2018. I’ve recommended him to everyone I know, and for good reason. Finding an honest, reasonably priced, trustworthy and guaranteed backed mechanic that you can bank on time after time without fail is rare. Not only is David all of these and more. He’s a good man. His work is outstanding and guaranteed. I haven’t used another mechanic in 7 years. I’ve saved thousands over the dealership. And he won’t buckle and dime you to death. Find the problem, isolate the issue and fix it. No fluff. No getting taking to the cleaners. Just good work and honest traditions. You’d be foolish to go anywhere else, unless you just enjoy getting ripped off of course.

Hands down David will be your favorite mechanic. He’s fast , reliable. honest , transparent, very inexpensive , most importantly knowledgeable. She’s worked on my 2019 BMW X3, my daughters BMW X1, out 2019 Kona. I always compare and shop around, David always beats the price by hundreds. He’s saved us so much money. He’s trustworthy as he’s a master mechanic with outstanding professionalism. Beats my dealership every time!

This is a Great and honest repair shop. David went above and beyond helping me out getting 2 vehicles back on the road at a honest price. I will be recommending him to everyone I know with vehicle problems. Also a bonus he is one of the only mechanics open on Sunday.

Heard of Mr. David through someone. Called him about an A/C issue I had. He did the diagnosis and kept me in the know with the issues he found. Have me the run down without a run around. He got my A/C working right the same day. Very honest person. I will definitely go to him for my vehicle needs.
