I've gone past before and I'm really glad I went in today. I got a dozen free-range eggs for less than $6, The mint is in really good shape, nice and fresh and I got some chili oil and some snacks that I've never tried before. Also they have a whole section of vegetarian frozen food items so I got some big old frozen buns (what I think of as bao) that are vegetarian. I also got a giant tea strainer which I was totally in need of and they had even bigger ones which is really great if you're using herbs to make a sauce or a soup and you don't want chunks of the herbs floating around in there later. They had like two aisles full of dining and cooking utensils that are really cool. Got some tiny maybe tea glasses that to me are perfect little shot glasses a few tiny saucers which I use when cooking when measuring out tablespoons or teaspoons of ingredients that maybe need to be ground beforehand or chopped beforehand and then measured. And then I got a couple of those flat bottom soup spoons that you use in restaurants and each of those little dishes was under a dollar or just over a dollar( the tea strainer was a couple of bucks). I also picked up some chili oil which I'm planning to actually put on kettle corn. So if you haven't been in here I recommend it. There were other items I've never seen or tried before so it probably won't be my last visit. Oh I forgot they also have the Strawberry Oreos from Korea. 😊
I like the store has a good selection. It’s small and compact in the parking is horrendous, but it has all the necessary things. Plus they have dim sum outside at the dim sum Co. cashiers are usually pretty rude, but I still come back
⭐ 1-Star Review: Rude, Discriminatory, and Unprofessional Service at the Butcher Counter I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this store today around 12 PM at the butcher counter. After waiting patiently for about 5 minutes while the butcher chatted with a friend over the counter, I asked for fresh bacon. Instead of helping me, he tried to give me frozen meat I didn’t ask for. When I politely said I wanted fresh bacon, he handed me another completely wrong item. A kind customer next to me helped me identify the correct piece of bacon because I’m visually impaired. I told the butcher, “This is the one I want,” and instead of helping, he became rude and dismissive. He said loudly, “Can someone else help this lady? She’s indecisive. I cannot help her.” I absolutely was NOT indecisive — I simply needed the correct item. When I explained that I am visually impaired, he responded with, “You can’t see?” and laughed. This is one of the most inconsiderate and discriminatory comments anyone could make to a disabled customer. I tried to speak to a manager, but the clerk told me the manager was “busy” and “doesn’t understand English well,” which made it impossible to report the incident in the moment. This behavior is unacceptable. The butcher was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking compassion, and the store clearly has no proper customer service standards in place. I will never return to this store again, and I will not allow my family to shop here. No customer should be treated this way — especially someone with a disability. If management does not correct this, the business will go downhill fast.
Right place to buy groceries specially for asian fruits, vegetables, spicies. Fish and sea food can be cooked and fried. old fashioned and dull interior but it is complete enough for one stop shoping.
