Sign in to reviewI was having all kinds of dashboard light issues and didn't understand why certain lights were coming on. For my back story my car's splash shield were being held by zip ties (this was done by a big name company) and they eventually gave out on the highway. Once I hit a certain bump or dip on the highway I noticed something was scraping against the road and then suddenly my engine, vsa system, power sterring, and then my heat temp light came on! I had pulled over and got my car towed to the (big name company) to get it fixed. Fast forward the big name company fixed my car's splash shield but couldn't figure out what was going on with my dashboard lights and having different personnel looking at it I wasn't getting a straight answer on excatly what was going on and ended up taking my car to O'Reilly to do the diagnostic myself and found out the engine cooling temp sensor needed to be replaced. I took it back to the big name company and they check it out themselves and pretty much discover the same thing I did but wanted to replaced the one on the radiator from the bottom and was going to charge me $450 (w/o providing the part) So still having all three dashboard lights on and my heat temp light on I Decided to call NC Motorsport auto repair and they took a look at my car. They resetted my dashboard lights to properly to see which ones would come on and look further into it and saw the same thing which was the engine cooler temp sensor needed to be replaced, which was simple! They show me all they needed to do was replace it from above (near the engine) it was simple and they did it for free. They even call me a few times afterward to make sure everything was alright! And it was! As of March 18th from over a month ago. everything is working great! Didn't see any of the lights anymore and it my issue was fixed after they replaced the heat temp sensor I provided. :) Even though I could of done it myself it is nice to have someone to trust to help you! Overall, I really appreciated this experience and felt at peace finally getting the right help! Thankyou! 🙂
Benjamin & Danny were just AWESOME!💪🏾Fixed my busted radiator hose while I waited!🙌🏽 Took EXTRA time to tighten up carb and adjust idle...it was sucking air around gasket.😳🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽They got a return customer with a 87 El Camino that's need some help! See ya soon!😉 …
Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place! I took my car in for a tune-up and to get the check engine light diagnosed. From the start, one mechanic was rude and extremely arrogant, Ben was more friendly but this other guy acting like I was wasting his time just for asking questions. They told me it was just the oxygen sensors and quoted me a price, but somehow the bill ended up over $800 – and my check engine light was never even fixed. Every time I called or stopped by to ask about it, I was brushed off or treated like I was being unreasonable. Eventually, I gave up and took my car to a different mechanic – thankfully, one who actually knows what they're doing. My new mechanic discovered that the previous shop did a very poor job: hoses were left loose, bolts were missing, and the issues that triggered the check engine light were never properly addressed. It's clear this shop is careless and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor – don’t bring your car here. I took my time to write this review because It cost me time, money, and stress to fix their mess. I'm just glad I found a real mechanic afterward.
I’m extremely disappointed with NC Motorsports. My car came in June 7 2025 for overheating and EPC light issues. They said it was ready around June 20, but it still overheated. I returned, and it overheated again on the way home with my child in the car with the epc light on. After spending over $3,700, I came back a third time, only for the car to still overheat. By now, my total expense was closer to $7,000. I finally took it to a dealership, and they fixed the issue immediately. It’s clear NC Motorsports either didn’t understand or didn’t care. Their claims of servicing all cars felt like experimentation, and they lacked integrity with no callbacks, incomplete repairs, and constant delays. I trusted them, but they let me down repeatedly. Please, save your time and money, go to someone who does it right the first time.
Been coming here for years and the owner Ben & mechanics have been super nice. The prices are reasonable, I had my front axle fixed, replaced my oil pan and multiple oil changes. I rather support a small business than always give my money to big corporations. I would definitely recommend stopping and seeing for yourself.
