As a small business owner, purchasing a property can be complicated depending on how the income is sourced. Though my business has been in operation and generating capital for over a decade; I was not aware of the documents needed to prove income to obtain a loan. The game has changed since I’ve last explored obtaining a mortgage. With my father having around 3 decades of experience in Real Estate, I was exposed to many loan brokerages, loan agents and small banks. However, even though most claimed to have alternative options or unconventional options; it seemed that they either preferred to do the standard Convention Loan and discouraged the alternatives because it gives them more work to do. What I needed were Unconventional Options and methods for my situation. So in the end, they did not offer any guidance; instead they said basic things such as: “get a co-signer” or “show more income on this document and then come back to me.” Therefore, after asking several other loan brokerages or loan agents; it seemed like a daunting task just to start the preparation stages to even get a Pre-Qualification Letter. Then, enters Namy, Inc. into conversation. Namy, Inc. was not even on my radar to message; but Yelp populated my inquiry over to them and they reached out swiftly but not in a desperate fashion. The CEO himself reached out and was very responsive, direct and concise communication wise. The CEO allowed me to reach out to him after business hours because he understood my schedule can be all over the place. He also had no problem meeting in person before providing any sensitive documentation to them; other CEOs of similar-sized brokerage firms were too busy to meet and could not find time to fit me into their schedules. It was important I see who I was dealing with before handing over my personal and business documents. Right from the start, after they listened to my situation and story, I was told that I was in an irregular situation mainly because of the way my income gets deposited, but they can help me if I decide to work with them. There was no hard close or sales pitch involved, the CEO did a quick briefing over the phone and told me exactly what the situation is and what the steps were and they will be there to “hold my hand” in a way. The initial call concluded and I took some time to think about everything they said before moving forward; there was no pressure and no sales call after. They didn’t need one. As I decided to move forward with Namy, Inc., I was on a texting basis with the CEO himself. We would arrange meetings at their office and we would have the conference room all to ourselves in a casual but cozy environment. The other associates that worked there eventually knew me on a first-name basis. I visited often with questions and updates throughout the entire mortgage process. As much as I love technology; certain things I preferred to do in person along with the human touch. The more I communicated with them, the more they understood my situation and eventually found a plethora of Loan Options for me and at different costs from their 80+ funding sources. It gave me complete confidence that I was going to be able to obtain a Mortgage Loan through Namy, Inc. Also, it helped that the office had plenty of couches and chairs to sit on, it had its own private parking lot and it was next to Steelcraft which had a ton of eateries and beverage places. So after weekly meetings and completing the steps assigned to me, I was able to obtain a loan with the help of Namy, Inc. Because of this experience, they are now my Go-To Loan Brokerage for refinancing and for referrals to my business associates, friends and family. I am extremely grateful for the non-stop efforts and work ethic displayed by the folks at Namy, Inc. So for Kelvin, Ngoc, Kevin and The Davids; Thank You for ALL you have done for me this year. There is no shortcut to the process, but with their help; I got to the finish line faster.
