Nautilus Pier 4 is an Asian fusion restaurant at 300 Pier 4 Blvd. in Boston, MA 02210, where diners can enjoy a meal beside the waterfront. Customer reviews often call out the pier setting and the atmosphere, describing it as a memorable backdrop for cocktails, shared plates, and time with friends. The restaurant has a 4.3-star rating from 555 reviews, giving visitors a useful snapshot of other diners’ experiences. If you are looking for an Asian fusion restaurant in Boston with a waterside scene, Nautilus Pier 4 may be a good fit for a relaxed outing or a special evening with company.

The menu’s range is part of its appeal. Reviewers mention tapas and the much-praised crab fried rice, along with a curated selection of food that guests say is full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Some diners have visited more than once and enjoyed trying new items as the menu changes between seasons. That feedback suggests Nautilus Pier 4 can appeal both to people planning a first visit and to returning guests who like exploring different dishes. Since individual preferences vary, the best choice depends on what you enjoy, but shared plates can make it easy for a group to sample more than one flavor.

Drinks are another recurring highlight in customer comments. Guests mention cocktails such as the Kermit the Frog, Blueberry & Soda, and Onion Blossom, as well as sake that they feel pairs well with the food. Desserts also draw interest: one reviewer chose the s’mores cheesecake after finding several options tempting. Together, these details point to a dining experience that can extend beyond a quick meal, with food, drinks, and dessert all part of the occasion. It may suit friends meeting over cocktails, diners who enjoy pairing drinks with dinner, or anyone hoping to linger over a waterfront meal.

Reviews are enthusiastic overall, though they also offer useful context for prospective diners. One repeat customer noted that some dishes had been too salty or oily on a visit and described an instance in which a dish arrived with peanuts. If you have a food allergy or specific dietary needs, communicate them clearly with the restaurant before ordering; the review does not establish how the restaurant handles allergy requests. The Nautilus Pier 4 is a great restaurant with a beautiful scene right on the pier. The atmosphere and waterfront setting really make it a nice place to enjoy cocktails, tapas, and time out with friends. The cocktails were great, especially the Kermit the Frog, Blueberry & Soda, and Onion Blossom. The tapas were amazing as well. We really enjoyed the Japanese hamachi, Spanish octopus a la plancha crudo, and charcoal prawns. Everything we had was flavorful, fresh, and well prepared. This honestly could have been a great overall experience, but unfortunately, our server, "Erin" had an attitude and then seemed to neglect our table afterward. That part really spoiled the visit for us, especially because the food, drinks, and location were so good. I hope the service improves because the restaurant itself has a lot to offer. Overall, The Nautilus Pier 4 has great food, cocktails, and a beautiful setting, but the service definitely needs to be better. Please do better.

Everything was amazing! Food, drinks, service, vibes. The crab fried rice is one of the best dishes in Boston. Amazing menu, very well curated. The drinks & sake pair perfectly with the food. The desserts all sounded amazing, so hard to choose. Ended up picking the s’mores cheesecake. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Nautilus offers a great Asian fusion menu that delivers on flavors, most of the time. We have dined here many times since it opened. The only reason that I can't give it five stars is because the food sometimes is too salty and oily. Also, one time, a server delivered a dish that had peanuts when it should have been nuts free. On a recent visit, however, everything we ordered was cooked well and tasted great, from the Peking duck, dandan noodles and string beans. The salt was dialed down on all the dishes. The noodles were chewy with a good heat level. The duck dish seemed smaller in portion but still very filling for 2-the 3 people. We have tried most of the dishes and really enjoyed their flavor combinations. The tres leches cake is a favorite. We were really happy with the meal and will come back more often. The restaurant is quite loud, especially during peak dinner time when music is playing. It's a bit too dark for our liking and it's very difficult to have a conversation if at a larger table. Service is always friendly and efficient though. For us, this is a restaurant that's worth coming back to again and again for the food.
