As a once regular customer, the betrayal and down right devastation I endured last night by Sumega is unfathomable. My husband took my just turned 4 year old and 8 year old in for their service appointment. Same exact service I always get, kids silk press and style. I arrived an hour later while my 4 year old was having RELAXER washed out of her hair. RELAXER!!! On my practically a TODDLER! She tried to explain by saying when she moved my appointments she messed up the service. This was a complete lie because my Style Seat confirmed that the appointment was still the silk press. I don't know her motivation. Whether it was to swindle my clueless husband out of more money or just pure hate or laziness to relax a Toddler's hair, but either way, it was very unprofessional. This is negligence at best and criminal at worst . As a mother, I am devastated that my child's beautiful texture has been changed and a carcinogen applied to her scalp. As much as I hate to tear down a black-owned, female business, I need to warn other parents. Even if her lie was true about mixing up the appointments (which it isn't, I have screen shots), why wouldn't she have confirmed such a damaging service to a child's head? We texted about the service and it was the same service I've ALWAYS gotten. What type of stylist doesn't go over services with their clients if there is a "change?" I am mortified.

Single Father here. Her 2 strand twist have lasted for 30 days and counting... They still look Good. So I'm happy. Maybe I can get another 30 days out of them including the twist out. Then I'd be elated!
