New Orleans Gift Store

New Orleans Gift Store is listed as a gift shop at 3723 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001, in the New Orleans area. However, available customer feedback raises an important question about whether the business is currently operating as a gift store. One reviewer says it is now an upholstery business, while others report finding the store closed despite posted hours. If you are looking for gifts in Metairie, confirm the business’s current services and opening status before making a trip.

The listing shows hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and lists the business as closed Thursday through Sunday. Those hours may not reflect what customers encounter: a reviewer reports visiting when the website indicated the store was open but finding it closed, and says no one answered the phone or voicemail was available. Since contact and availability appear uncertain in the feedback, checking for an up-to-date confirmation before visiting is a practical step.

The reviews do not describe a dependable selection of gift merchandise. One customer says there were few, if any, options, and that they were advised to shop online. Another reports that the business does upholstery rather than gifts. No particular gift types, brands, or signature products are identified in the available information, so shoppers should not assume that specific items are in stock. The information provided also does not establish what upholstery services, if any, are currently offered.

Customer experiences reported for New Orleans Gift Store are mixed and include serious concerns about service. One reviewer describes being treated rudely after entering and asking for help, and reports a racially offensive interaction. Other reviewers mention difficulty reaching the business or uncertainty about its current purpose. The listing has a 1.6-star rating from five reviews, a small sample that may not represent every visit, but the concerns shared are relevant for prospective customers. This description reflects the available listing and reviews, not an independent confirmation of current operations. If you do visit, consider confirming the business is open and offering the service you need before traveling to 3723 Airline Dr.
