Sign in to reviewPlace was extremely hot and even the front deli case was warm to the touch and had a blower to cool it - yes, cheese and meats were still being stored in it - health code violation!! I ordered a hot sandwich, so I went ahead and still tried it seeing that my ingredients weren't in that case. You can see the pic attached of a Philly cheesecake with onions (giant pieces). Just wasn't a fan of the thick, dry bread, the large onion chunks, or the meat (which was almost more like pot roast) - especially at the price point! Only ordered it because of the reviews, but given the improperly stored cheese & meat and extreme heat inside (lack of maintenance) and the quality of what I ordered - this is a one and done for me. The staff was extremely friendly though!!! And if conditions improve, would gladly try them again.
These sandwiches are not like the picture. Also know the prices are not as shown the are $4 more. The sandwiches was $14.50 and was not worth it. I don’t mind paying $15 but I want a good sandwich. Unfortunately this wasn’t one No meat!
I wouldn't say the atmosphere was influential in my rating. (What with the clutterd dinning area and a random umbrella occupying most of the counter space.)That wouldn't be fair. But the service was nice and the lady behind the counter was very polite. The food was good but that was it. Just good. It wasn't cold or tasteless. It didn't smell off or look off putting. It was just good. My partner had the corn beef reuben and it was good. When I tried it I thought it was tasty. (For some context I've never had a reuben before) and according to my partner, they would eat it again. My selection was the New Yorker Pastrami. And I can say it was good. But thats about it. Its a Pastrami sandwich and that's all it was asked to be. Was it filling? No. Not really. I am interested in coming back to try other items but my first experience is one I will probably only remember as good. Also the prices are between $13-$17 depending on what you order.
Most slept on sandwich shop in town . I knew it was gonna be good when I saw them slicing each piece of meat for the Sammy I ordered. Hot and fresh bread with that right type of softness but crunch to it. Delicious from first to last bite.
Fresh sliced deli meat and fresh baked cookies! Nice selection of sandwiches using boars head products
