Nguyen's Noodles & Tea is an Asian restaurant at 3615 Whitehall Park Dr in Charlotte, NC 28273. It offers a varied menu that reviewers describe as a comfortable option for noodles, chicken dishes, spring rolls, tea, and boba. Customer feedback highlights a clean, pleasant dining space and friendly service, including staff who made a thoughtful effort to accommodate one guest’s dietary restrictions. With a 4.2 rating from 160 reviews, the restaurant has drawn local diners looking for a casual meal, takeout, or a drink alongside their food. The details available point to an approachable place to explore familiar Asian-inspired flavors, while individual dishes can vary in how closely they match each guest’s expectations.

Noodles are a natural choice here. Reviewers mention egg noodle stir fry with chicken and Pad Thai, including chicken Pad Thai. One guest enjoyed the flavor of the chicken Pad Thai, while another found a Pad Thai serving different from what they expected, with dry beef and less sauce than they would have liked. The egg noodle stir fry reviewer noted that sauce was at the bottom of the dish and recommended stirring before eating. Staff also offered several sauces, including yum yum sauce, giving diners options to adjust a meal to their taste. These details may be useful if you are deciding what to order or prefer to add sauce as you go.

Chicken wings earn particularly warm mentions in customer feedback. Guests describe the fried chicken in spicy garlic sauce as crispy and juicy, and another review praises the crunch of soy garlic wings. A reviewer also said the wings were among the best choices on their visit, based on a staff recommendation. Spring rolls and chicken noodle dishes appear in takeout orders, and one guest described their order as generous. Tea and boba are also part of the experience: one customer found the teas decent and especially enjoyed the boba. Banh mi flavors come up in a review from a diner with dietary restrictions who appreciated the staff’s willingness to help accommodate a craving; the available feedback does not establish details about specific ingredients or preparation, so guests with dietary needs may want to speak with staff directly.

The restaurant may suit families, friends, and solo diners seeking a relaxed meal, as well as customers picking up food to go. Its reported clean setting and range of choices offer a practical starting point for groups with different cravings, from stir-fried noodles and spring rolls to wings and boba. Nguyen's Noodles & Tea is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you are visiting from elsewhere in Charlotte or nearby, the address is 3615 Whitehall Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28273. For the most suitable order, especially when you have dietary restrictions or preferences about sauce, asking the staff about available options can help you choose with confidence.

The place is clean and pleasant with a good variety of menu options. The Pad Thai was tasty but it wasn’t quite what I expected. The beef was dry and overall it felt like there wasn’t enough sauce. We also tried the fried chicken in spicy garlic sauce and it was really good crispy, juicy 10/10. We came mostly for their new bingsu and honestly it was really refreshing and delicious😋 Biggest issue was the smell/ventilation. The whole place smelled like the kitchen there was even a bit of smoke and it was quite hot inside. Our clothes ended up smelling like fried oil which made it kinda uncomfortable to stay and enjoy the food. Overall food had some highlights but the smell kind of ruined the experience for me.

This place is always delicious! I ordered the egg noodle stir fry with chicken, spring rolls, and the chicken wings to go(lots of food and the pictures don’t do it justice). The egg noodles have some sauce in the bottom if you stir it, the servers also offer multiple sauces including yum yum, and soy. The spring rolls were some of the best I’ve had, sweet and sour sauce included. And the wings, cooked to perfection, juicy but crunchy and just enough sauce! Amazing! I do have leftovers to enjoy tomorrow.

We decided to give this place a try after I had visited numerous times from picking up for other customers. The Teas were decent but my son's Boba was delicious! Our wings were probably the best menu items we could've chosen, which was recommended. I wanted to give the Banh Mi sandwiches a try being that I've had them before but its been so many years since then. In a way I feel like the cashier tried to talk me out of ordering it and I can see WHY after taking a few bites. The chicken was poorly prepared, dry and with little to no seasoning on it at all. The roll was so hard it made me feel like I was eating a crouton but in sandwich form. Being a chef I place myself in the shoes of those who will be consuming my food and that goes for the right bite. The cucumber and carrots could have been thinly sliced or even matchstick size cuts for a much easier bite throughout. I want to give this place another try and maybe go for the noodles instead. All in all it wasn't completely bad, some items badly could use better thought and execution.
