Sign in to reviewEveryone in the office from the front desk to PAs to NP to Dr. Susie Nguyen is friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend Dr. Susie Nguyen to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, nice PCP.
I saw Dr. Susuie Nguyen for ~10 years, and saw her husband 5 - 6 times, and from ,my first visit until the last visit, they would have you come every two months, have lab work done repeatly, and wrote prescriptions unecessarily and far two many. My healthcare investigated a told of four doctors because they started on a medication at twice the recommended dosage. My healthcare provider did not tell me the results of the investigatiion, but two of the four were terminated from Methodist and Kelsey Seybold.
Dr, Susie Nguyen is one of the best Primary Care Physicians on the North west side of Houston Tx. Dr Susie has integrity. Dr. Susie listen to you. she cared for me thru my Depression. BP,. I really love this lady as a professional.
My mom has been going to Dr. Susie Nguyen since beginning of 2022 and her visits have been fine thus far. However, as I'm writing this review, my mom recently picked up a refill on her medication and the instructions had changed from once daily to twice daily - mind you she was never told the instructions would change on her medication at her last appointment. I had to call the doctor's office to confirm and the receptionist told me she didn't see any notes in the record for this change but that she would send a message to the nurse practitioner. I called my mom's pharmacy later to confirm whether the twice daily script was sent as is or if it was typed in incorrectly, and they said it was sent as is but they did receive a new script for once daily so the twice daily script is now inactivated. I understand patients should take an active role in their health, but the doctor's office should also be making sure the instructions for medication are correct when sending them out. That is super dangerous and my mom could've experienced some adverse events had she taken the medication with the incorrect instructions that the doctor had sent out.
First of all my mother has been coming to this doctor for years so all her medical history is right here in one place. She also goes to the doctor regularly. My mother recently visited the office for sudden numbness on one side of her body. She was also slow in her speech, something the doctor should have recognized since my mother visits regularly. Instead of recognizing this as a possible symptom of stroke due to other health factors my mother experiences, Dr. Susie said to go get a knee x-ray?? My mom is currently in the hospital being treated for a stroke and luckily we were able to get her to a hospital before another, more devastating stroke occurred. It is baffling that a medical professional missed such an obvious symptom of stroke and put my mother’s life in danger. If you’ve been going here for years, find another doctor before they pit your life at risk too.
