Brandon was understanding, helpful, and professional, and got me in and out of their quickly at a great price and I can go on with my day. I give this business my highest possible recommendation. Two stars just for Brandon who was nice at the front desk. Went in with my Lexus IS300 a month ago to get it serviced for an small EVAC leak so I can get it ready for a smog check. First time, they said it cleared their systems and it was running smoothly, so I go to get gas afterwards and all of a sudden my car can't take gas in for more than two seconds. Take it back to their shop a week later, and they said a part wasn't "aligned" properly which was causing my car not to take in gas. They still say that the car should pass the smog check since it is "passing their systems." But when I go take the smog check it fails. Now I'm down $300 dollars + the smog check and I noticed my check engine light isn't even showing up anymore. Oh, and they "repaired" my car keys since it was old, but the buttons don't work and the car won't lock without me manually locking it from the door. Down another $200. Again, nice people at the desk, but whoever the mechanic was who worked on my car needs to double check things.
Last Thursday late afternoon we broke down on the 405 South in Irvine. Got towed to Nick's, the closest repair facility, after an overnight stay nearby. Random chance of choosing them. Nick's got us back on the road to our San Diego home three hours earlier than anticipated. They expertly diagnosed major radiator repairs, treated us quite well, and we were very satisfied. Great experience. highly recommend.
Poor customer service provided to me, but excellent customer service to those that walked in after me and those that called during my conversations with Richard. If I were one of them, I’d be more than happy with the service, but if you look like me, you probably won’t be. Among the many headaches, they tried to charge me twice, and they would not have released my car had I not brought my own proof of payment, because “that’s weird, usually it’s posts right away, but I’m not seeing that you made a payment.. I can send the link again.” Yeah no…already paid. Nice try. I paid for the “service”, drove my car around the corner and had it towed away. Would definitely recommend going to a place with better customer service and communication, depending on who you are.
