Ninth Island Gourmet is a coffee shop at 707 Fremont St in Las Vegas, NV, bringing together coffee and island-inspired treats in a small, welcoming setting. It is a distinctive stop for visitors exploring Fremont Street and for locals looking for a flavorful drink or a sweet break. Customer reviews describe a tiny shop with big island flavors, located on the second floor behind the Mantis. The upstairs location is worth keeping in mind when you arrive, and reviewers say the friendly service makes the visit feel comfortable from the start.

Shaved ice is one of the standout reasons customers visit. Reviewers praise the guava shaved ice with snow cap, noting its balanced flavor and house-made syrups. One customer called it the best shave ice they had tried outside Hawaii, while another highlighted the range of flavors they hoped to explore on a return visit. If you enjoy refreshing desserts, this is a good place to try a Hawaiian-inspired treat in downtown Las Vegas. The menu also includes musubi, described by a reviewer as a Hawaiian treat made with rice and Spam, offering a savory option alongside the sweets.

Coffee gives Ninth Island Gourmet another reason to stop in. Customer favorites mentioned in reviews include drip coffee, a hot white chocolate mocha, and a coconut-flavored Vietnamese coffee. One reviewer noted that the Vietnamese coffee was not traditional, but still found it delicious, so it may appeal if you are curious about a coconut-forward variation rather than seeking a classic preparation. A coffee-toffee brioche donut also earned a glowing mention. Together, the drinks and treats make the shop suitable for a quick coffee run, a dessert stop, or a relaxed visit with friends and family.

The shop’s small scale and island-inspired flavors make it a casual choice for individuals, families, and groups with different tastes. One customer stopped in for coffee while watching their daughter play at a nearby park; others visited together and tried different items. Reviews also mention cheerful, attentive staff and seasonal Easter decor, adding a personal touch without making the space feel formal. The listing shows a 4.9 rating from 23 reviews, reflecting a strong response from customers who have shared their experiences.

Got a Vietnamese coffee to try. It’s not a traditional Vietnamese coffee, but it was still delicious. Loved the coconut flavor! Staff was incredibly friendly, and it was adorably decorated in Easter decor.

I ran in here to grab a coffee while I watch my daughter play at the park below. And I was super delighted by how great the coffee was! I got a white chocolate mocha hot and it was perfect. Thank you great service.

A tiny shop with big-time island flavors! Definitely worth climbing the stairs! They're nestled up on the second floor, right behind "the mantis" and serving-up nā ʻono nui (big flavors!) I had their drip coffee and others in my party were raving about the musubi (a Hawaiian treat with rice, spam and seaweed). They also have bento boxes, shaved ice, and a LOT of pastries. At the far end, while you're waiting for your custom-made drink, you can browse a large selection of imported oils, vinegars and sauces. My friend stocked-up on island treats for his son, who can't find them up in Colorado.

The best shave ice I've had outside of Hawaii (Kailua) - maybe even better than Kailua. Coffee was also excellent. The donut (coffee toffee brioche donut) is stellar - all donuts should be brioche donuts. I'll have to come back to try more flavors.
