Nomad Cafe

I come to this place often to work in the morning and it's great. The staff are really nice and the coffee is great! I haven't tried the food because I rarely eat breakfast, but people seem to enjoy what they offer. If you are looking for a place to do work and enjoy food or drink, I recommend this place!

This review is on their coffee. I’m a coffee snob for health reasons, bad coffee burns my UT. Red bay, High Wire, 4 Barrel, bird and bear is my standard. So if this is your vibe be reading. So, the coffee is ok. Not bad but not impressive. They use Costco milks. So from taste point of view. It’s already boring without even drinking it. I had a sourdough Breakfast sandwich. Ingredients were pretty standard, but it was pretty tasty with some hot sauce and ketchup. Coming here is more of a “I need something now” vs “I want a tasty treat” I will be back as they do have some other great offerings. My search for great coffee in this area continues.

Kind of run-down and dirty, funky smell when you walk in, tables are a bit grody. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich based on the menu pricing on the wall, but then when they rang me up it was $3 more, so I cancelled the order and just tried some of my friend's order. The price was already pretty steep, but then to raise it up beyond the advertised amount, effectively a bait-and-switch, made me not purchase anything on principle.

Love, love, loooove this cafe! Nomad is everything that you could ever want in a local neighborhood cafe! They’ve got delicious drinks, incredible food, outstanding service, great vibes, and they know their customers. I’ve been coming here for quite sometime now and I’ve never had a bad experience here. My ultimate fave: Enjoying their chai latte and a pork chop banh mi on the patio. This combo is a win-win for me every single time. Recently, I’ve branched out of my norm and have become obsessed with their matcha latte and other banh mi’s as well. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything that you try here. It’s always gonna be the bomb.com! What really seals the deal for me is the excellent customer service. The staff is so sweet and efficient. The owner Bee is an absolute gem! That fact that he remembers me and goes out of his way to say hi even when he’s busy working is truly an honor. I’m writing this review as I’m sitting here on the patio having lunch because I’m just so impressed. Thank you to Bee and the wonderful staff of Nomad Cafe who make coming here so enjoyable! The neighborhood (and I) truly appreciate you all!

Nomad Cafe is a small local shop with delicious sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee! I’ve had their chicken and pork bahn mi and each component of the sandwich was perfect, especially the bread. The displayed baked goods always entice me to add one onto my order and they pair perfectly with a cup of their coffee. This is my go-to spot for bahn mi!
