This is a place to go for warm flavorful meat dishes served on fluffy and buttery basmati rice and warm pita bread. We enjoyed the chicken and ground beef kabob combo plate and the Mediterranean ground chicken and ground beef kabob plate. Both plates were excellent. The chicken pieces were juicy and the ground beef/chicken kabobs were tasty. The dishes were well balanced by the sides of grilled tomato, fresh lemon, and shirazi salad, which provided a bright freshness and crunchy texture that offset the richer proteins. Overall, a great fast casual restaurant, serving comforting Persian food for a hearty meal with family and friends.
Hello Manager/Owners I’m writing to share some feedback from my recent visit. I came in with my family, and unfortunately the music was so loud that we weren’t even able to have a normal conversation at store. On top of that, we had to wait a long time for the cashier to assist us, which created a frustrating experience overall. I’m recommending two simple improvements that would make a big difference: Please reduce the music volume to a more comfortable level for customers. Please add more staff during busy times so the cashier line moves faster. I’m sharing this because I believe your business can offer a much better experience with a few adjustments. This is a great Persian market that carries a big produce section and bread section and has an attached Persian cafe that is good and does a great job with their large naan bread in both flour and whole wheat. The produce and fruits are great. They have a good number of Indian spices too. Their bread section. Is decent. They have a good variety of fruits. The pricing is good. Please check your bill before you leave sometimes they have a tendency of ringing the wrong item ( example is pears ) I bought a cheaper variety that was on sale. They charged me for the expensive one that was not on sale. My mistake that I didn’t check before I leave. But it could be a honest mistake as it was busy and they were rotating cashiers. They have some desserts too. A decent palace to shop if you are in Poway.
North Park Produce is one of my favorite stores, and I shop here often. They offer products you can’t find in other stores, which makes it truly special. I love their wide selection of items from Eastern European and Asian countries—it’s always exciting to discover something new here. There’s so much to praise about this store, but I do have one regret: they don’t have a location in my city, so I have to spend quite a bit of time driving there. That said, it’s absolutely worth the trip! This store deserves a 5-star review, but I’m giving it 4 stars because they carry products imported from russia. russia is a terrorist state engaged in an aggressive war, and the civilized world has united to impose sanctions to stop its actions. It’s deeply painful to see russian goods in this store.
