Feedback about the clinic reflects a range of patient experiences. Another review praises a provider identified as Susan for listening carefully and showing genuine concern, while also recognizing welcoming staff members and a clean clinic environment. These comments suggest that patients who value attentive conversations and a professional office setting may find aspects of the practice that fit their preferences.
At the same time, prospective patients may wish to confirm practical details directly with the office before scheduling. Reviews raise concerns about appointment waits, office organization, communication, and insurance-related processes, while other patients report positive service. Calling ahead to verify new-patient availability, insurance network status, referral or primary-care-provider requirements, and the purpose of a scheduled visit can help set clear expectations. This is especially useful for patients arranging care for an older family member or coordinating follow-up needs.

I verified online that this clinic was in-network with my insurance, then called to confirm they were accepting new patients. I was specifically instructed to switch them to my primary care provider and obtain a reference number, which I did. Before my first appointment, I even re-emailed the confirmation and insurance details. The office called my insurance and confirmed everything was active and accepted. Visit 1: I arrived expecting to meet a doctor, but no doctors were on site. I met with a nurse practitioner who was very kind and professional. Visit 2: I finally met with a lady doctor not Dr. Zhang and everything went smoothly. A third appointment was scheduled for 2/19/26. Visit 3 (today): I checked in through mobile, arrived, signed in, and waited. Then I was called to the front desk and told: “We don’t take your insurance.” No prior call. No warning. No verification before I drove there. Just sent away after already being seen twice and after they themselves had confirmed my coverage multiple times. If your clinic changed networks, that happens — but you knew I had an appointment scheduled and you had already verified my insurance and PCP change. The responsible thing to do would have been to call beforehand instead of letting a patient drive out, check in, and wait only to be turned away. The nurses and the doctor I met were professional and kind. However, the front office and administrative coordination are extremely disorganized. Accepting my insurance on the 29th and the 5th, then suddenly not on the 19th with zero notice, is not acceptable practice. I have documentation of switching my PCP, insurance verification, and email confirmation from your office. I sincerely hope I do not receive any billing related to this situation, because the administrative error was entirely on the clinic’s end. Very disappointing experience due to poor communication and organization. Also they kept sending medication to the WRONG PHARMACY Waste of time . Unprofessional. Unorganized. Not a genuine clinic that cares for your health and well being . Doesn’t respect patients. Do not go.
Excellent doctor in every aspect! Dr. Jinsong Zhang is very knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. He listens carefully, explains things clearly, and truly cares about his patients. I always feel comfortable and confident in his care. Highly recommended!
Note - main doctor Dr Zhang, in my own experience, barely speaks good English. They have no empathy for elderly patients. The whole set up is a money making machine with lots of ways to generate income for the practice. I’m officially filing complaint with the insurance company about the experience. Terrible experience with this practice. Our first appointment was to set up new patient relationship for my mom (79 yr) with the main doctor Dr Zhang, but when we went there, we were told that Dr Zhang is never in the office that day of the week (duh!) and we will be seen by somebody else. We refused because it was important for me to personally see how good the doctor is with our questions on mom’s health! So they rescheduled my mom for another week when we would be seen by this doctor. So, I again took my mother to see the doctor!! Instead of doctor personally spending any decent time with her (total time with Dr Zhang only 2 minutes towards the END of 2 hours marathon), much of the visit was handled by other staff and another unknown doctor while multiple in-office tests were performed over nearly two hours. In the middle of all the exams, I had to ask them to stop so I could go get orange juice for my mom. She was so exhausted. We had not even scheduled any annual exam with this office. But they said doctor would like to run all the tests before seeing my Mom. What a way to treat patients like she has no trustworthy medical history before seeing him!! Before the tests began, I repeatedly asked whether everything would be covered as part of her annual wellness exam, and the office assured me they had verified the insurance benefits and that the services were included. Three days later we went for blood tests in the office. A week later the office called us again to do thyroid blood test on my Mom, now this is such a basic one they missed among dozens of lucrative tests—I really got annoyed now. However, a month has gone by, we still have not received any of the test results or reports from the office, and we unexpectedly received a bill for over $100 in patient responsibility charges. The lack of communication, intentional lack of transparency around billing, way over testing, and overall patient’s poor experience were so very disappointing, especially for an elderly new patient. Never go there!! It feels like a farmers market of a collection of various hand picked test stations ready for you to be taken through!!
Awful experiences all the way around. Both offices are disorganized and you wait and wait. I took my mom today for her follow-up appointment today and they didn’t even know why she was there after waiting for over an hour. No lab work results back from her initial appointment on 12/16/25? They never took care of her prescription issues from her initial visit, either. Nobody in that office cared at all. Zero star review for this doctor and his entire team of medical “professionals”. I had to leave one star in order to post a review. The front desk staff was rude at the Richardson location and it was not clean. We should’ve known better as soon as we walked in. Thank you for wasting our time.
Amazing service! doctor Susan truly takes the time to listen and genuinely cares about patients she is knowledgeable and professional, The staff are kind, patient, and very welcoming thanks to Veronica for being so kind and helpful, Everything is handled professionally, and the clinic is clean and well-maintained.
